I have to admit, in Mass Effect 1 and 2, I was not a big fan of Garrus. But in Mass Effect 3 it's after Liara my favourite character .

Garrus is only this high on the list because Wrex wasn't given more screen time and more of his life to tell us about. He had 1,400 years of badass krogan-ness to draw on. Tis a shame they didn't keep him on the crew.

Garrus would be a close second though - Great writing, great voice acting and an overall awesome character. Every time I select him for a mission I go into a "terminator" mode, get goosebumps and then I die before I realize I can't run and gun on insanity...

Garrus walked all over Mordin! At least in my opinion anyways

Totally loved the Garrus character. Mordin never really did much for me to be honest. I hated seeing him die but because I wasn't emotionally invested in him it didn't really effect me nearly as much as Tali's death scene did ( first play through paragon score wasn't high enough to stop that ! I reloaded and took a renegade hit instead to save Tali.)

I dunno, I find Garrus kind of boring honestly. I like Legion, Zaeed, Mordin and Vega more than I like Garrus. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike anything about him but he doesn't really do it for me.

EDIT: Ezio Auditore might be my favorite game character of all time.

In terms of video games, i'd say he's in the top 15 for me. He's not my favorite by a long shot, but he is epic and has many good moments for sure.

Great character, but I don't like the person. He's a little better in ME3, maybe ‘grown up’ a bit with new responsibility.

I'm obviously in the minority and I accept that…I just thought his loveable rogue persona veered into straight-up blackguard a little too often.

just dont know some games have an awesome standout character which is hard for ME to compete with as they have ancilliary squaddies. Some favourites that come to my mind are Nathan Drake, Guybrush Threepwood, GLaDoS, Sephiroth (so ive heard) and Solid Snake (who I didnt think was amazing but others do)

Garrus is my main man! My Dawg! My buddy! My Pal! My Friend! My Brother in Arms. Should the ending change and Shepard marries one of the crew Garrus will have to make himself comfortable with the role of "Best Man"! Garrus would be the name of my Shepard's firstborn (In Ashley/Jack romance or if FemShep with Kaidan {wow Femshep really got ripped off!}). Garrus would also be the Godfather of my Shepard's first child!

I'm not that obsessed. I know its fake. 

No I meant the very real occurences that can happen to people who force lucid dreaming. You can end up in a situation where your brain is half awake. You can move your eyes but your body is locked. Its why when you dream about running you dont actually get up and hit a wall.

In this state its common to experience hallucinations. They say they can be very frightening. People even have
heart attacks during these.


It happened to me once...Woke up eyes worked, but nothing else. Then after rolling my eyes enough times, I was able to move my toes....then the rest followed. Lucky no hallucinations though :innocent:

Not even close. I never understood why Garrus is so popular. He's in the bottom half of my "favourite squadmates" list.
