Filthy skeletons begone! I want lovely corpses piling in the streets! ;)

I think corpses turn into skeletons and disappear too fast, which
disturbes immersion for me. I would prefer if they never turned into
skeletons and instead remained permanently or at least for 15 minutes
or at least until an area is left.

I have no idea if this can be modded or how easy/difficult it would be,
so feedback from all modders is very welcome. Since I have no clue
about modding DAO (basically because of limited free time), this is a
kind request to you capable modders out there to build this :)

Think of it as a real-life quest :)
Reward: Me (and hopefully others) approve +20

Everyone please write your thoughts about this.

And capable modders please step forward! :D

Ah, this would indeed be great. For all their faults, one thing I liked about Oblivion and Fallout 3 was that the bodies never disappeared.

Anyway, I was poking around the editor, and unfortunately found no way to fix this terrible "bug". Perhaps someone else will have more luck.

I found it! In the APR_Base.xls (should have known it was there), there is a cell named "DecayBehaviour". Set this to 1 (never decays, can walk through), 2 (never decays, can't walk through), or 3 (decays immediately; used for fade creatures) for all creatures with no entry (****). Leave the rest alone.

This should do.

EDIT: here's an already modfified APR_Base.GDA, for those that don't want to bother: www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php Most are set to 1.

Excellent, thank you very much SpaceAlex! I will try it out once I'm home.

I published it in the project I used for the request (http://social.biowar...m/project/1126/) - it links to your Dragon Age Nexus page. If you don't like that or if you publish it here in your own project, I will remove my project of course, just write me.

Thanks again!

That's fine. Hope this will make the game more enjoyable for some. I know it will for me. Nothing worse than seeing an ogre turn into a tiny bag after a while.

I mean, your PC and party members must all have insatiable appetites. All they leave behind is bones and even that not every time.:D
