Of returning companions, I must admit that I never got tired of Oghren and Ariane was kind of fun.

Of returning characters, Keili from DAO because a properly crazy companion would be quite good fun. Elsa maybe
because a tranquil companion would be an interesting one (basically you get a totally rational voice at all times).

I think for new characters a slightly outrageously gay man would be good. The Orlesians will fit that character well and it will really annoy the religious types who criticise games with gay characters (and that is always a bonus).

Just not Tallis, please.
