Aethyta never called me Liaras boyfriend when I spoke to her and infact she and liara talk about her still being single and insinuates my shep is gay (which he is)

Liara is the pet character of Bioware and has had more than generous coverage from ME1 to ME3 compared to anyone else. Hence the natural assumption that because they have a fanatic love for her everyone will romance her.
Ashley was hardly impressive in ME1 anyway being a bible thumping bigoted racist... which hardly improves by ME3.

Kind of funny conversation between Liara and her father. I just had trouble listening it all since it involved shepard running back and forth to trigger the next part. The father also mentioned during that conversation that Liara's and Shepards pants should be on fire the way they keep looking at each other. Liara wasn't LI at that point or in ME1 in that import. Small bug I guess.
