That in itself is an accomplishment, they're holding their ground, and begrudgingly it's their right to do so, but so too is it our right to keep holding the line against these endings and towards true change.
I'm impressed with the work and dedication everyone put into this, truly inspirational, and it's not over yet. They may never speak of us, and our stories may never be sung, but after the ending we held the line.

You need not worry of our actions fading into darkspace. Somewhere in the fabric of the universe, our actions will be remembered. United, we've done something amazing, and no one can deny that. We've held the line so far, and we'll continue to for as long as it takes.

Wonder if we had seen the extended cut if it wasn't for the retakers, hopefully people will keep holding the line until we actually have a playable ending to this game! No major changes are needed just a little polishing.
Gamble said on twitter he had hinted at an extended cut, but I take everything they say with a pinch of salt....
Hard to trust their statements, as PR is spoonfeeding them and controlling from behind the scenes.

From the get go I was excited because it gave us, the consumers, hope that we might be able to retaliate against poor business practices. It gave us the hope that we might retake some of our previous power when "the customer was always right."
Too long has our influence on the products we consume been passive. Too long have we been forced to deal with crappy customer service reps, shoddy products at exorbitant prices, and nickel-and-dime business models. This movement gave me hope that we might be able to find a way to regain a modicum of control over our entertainment.
More than anything seeing such a diverse group of consumers rally around a cause like this has been inspiring. Defiance in the face of incompetence in a unified movement that actually tried to stay civil while bringing together people from all over the world, from all along the political and economic spectrum, and of all sorts of religious, cultural, and moral belief systems has been awe inspiring.
That's what has stuck with me since this whole thing began.

We should be really proud of ourselves for bringign the fight to these giants, however it isn't over guys. We must still hiod the line. You see the extended cut dlc doesn't cut if for me. Clarifying the endings does not address the degree in which they compromise the integrity of the ME franchise. ME is all about players choice. We determine outcomes through decisions. I believe the current endings remove this very important aspect of the game. Not only that but the edings just don't make sense! I believe that in attempting to provide answers to many questions these endings bring up, Bioware will make them seem even more implausible. I hope my fellow Retake fans don't put their unconditional faith in Bioware and settle for anything less than what this masterful franchise deserves, an appropriate ending where the players decide how Shepards story should end. Whether he lives or dies as a Paragon or Renegade, it should be our decisions that detemine it. Having options with wildly different outcomes is KEY. Thank you.
So what are you going to do if in two or three motnhs time when summer is here, and you still don't have what you want?
Do you really think your line is going to survive that long?

The extended cut could raise more questions than it answers, and anger those that weren't before. You and I are speculating.
But do you really think Bioware will be silent in those 2-3 months? They are using PR statements to try to turn the tide in their favor. Bioware is showing weakness, why else would they announce the extended cut before PAX? Why announce that there will be no talk of the extended cut at PAX?
Then why did they only announce MP content? last I checked... the outrage and focus has always been the ending and their PR pre-launch.
