I may have missed this in my playthrough, but when was it revealed that the Crucible worked in tandum with the Citadel.  Because how would you build something to fit and work with something else, but not know what that something else was?

Also, why wouldn't the Protheans put info on the Crucible in their beacons.  Something like we almost finished this weapon. maybe you can finish what we couldn't.  Vigil was buried with the best and the brightest, had all this info on the last cycle, but knew nothing about this weapon?

Just a couple of things that have bugged me since I finished the game.
