If you really want to know, PM a moderator, unless you want this specific thread to talk about the topics.

two, if your views are stated in an offensive manner then they could lead to a ban,
polite and respectful shouldn't ...however there is some room for subjectivity in determining what is polite and what is rude...and an extreme viewpoint could be offensive no matter how politely it is phrased (though I believe such viewpoints would not qualify as respectful)

If I politely say that I don't want a bisexual love interest because bisexuals are unnatural, perverted, and carry diseases, I'd still get a ban.NovinhaShepard wrote...
As long as you are polite and acknowledge the fact that not anyone will agree with you.
You can be polite and still violate the code of conduct.

ARE PLAYERS ALLOWED TO EXPRESS OPNIONS OR EVEN OBJECTIONS TOWARDS CONTROVERSIAL SOCIAL SUBJECT MATTER THAT MAY BE FOUND IN DRAGON AGE ORIGINS AND DRAGON AGE 2? (E.G. BISEXIUAL RELATIONSHIPS OPTIONS, ETC)
By the way, i am the type to express my frank opinions in a straight forward but polite and respectful manner. PLEASE DO NOT BANNE ME.
Just don't.
No one who starts a thread of this nature and types this sort of question in all caps has the social acumen necessary for discussing sensitive subjects.

I'm not sure how that's a response to what I said, but I agree. Being polite is not the same as being passive aggressive.NovinhaShepard wrote...
Passive aggressive =/= polite. Sorry.
One can be polite and passive aggressive, polite and assertive-aggressive, or polite and non-aggressive.

Indeed. In any case, here's the responses you will get:
You: I don't want bisexuals/homosexuals/blacks/elves/demons/dragons/the color purple in the game.
Me: Why?
You: Because I don't like them.
Me: That's nice. *leaves*
or
You: I don't want bisexuals/homosexuals/blacks/elves/demons/dragons/the color purple in the game.
Me: Why?
You: Because I find them offensive.
Me: Why?
You: Because they're indecent. Think of the children!
Me: It's an M-rated game. So why are you letting your kids play it?
You: Well I don't want to be exposed to that filth and I'm an adult.
Me: Then don't buy the game.
You: I didn't know it was in there until I bought it.
Me: Exercise due dilligence.
You: But Anders tried to FLIRT with me! ZOMG SQUICK!
Me: And that poor Qunari mage setting himself on fire didn't bother you at all?
You: That's DIFFERENT.
Me: Squick is squick. If your opinion is that you want a squick-free existence, get over it. And we're done here.

Yeah it should be fine. The reasson why so many topics are getting banned in ME3 forums is cause people are being brats and rude cause of a bad ending. Keep it civil and you'll be fine. And that's why I'm done with ME3 forums for now. DA2 didn't get that much hate
Actually it was worse, it was so bad they had to create a new forum that only people who bought the game could talk in because of the trolling and personal attacks on players who bought the game.
To the orginal topic, I agree with what others have said BioWare will allow most topics to exist if there isn't already an existing thread or its not hate speach, but with the amount of capital letters (yelling) you used I would believe you post might be too aggressive to prevent a ban.

Yep.
I've actually noticed the odd person posting in this forum who doesn't have DA2 registered. Any idea what's up with that?

I think bioware should leave the sexual orientation of main party member characters to the preference of the player. I don't think its fair that the sexual orientation of a main playable party member character should be decided for the player prior to any interactive dialogue. Players tend to develop a fondness for a character. Along with that, is a model or impression the player wants to maintain to have of that character. I think you all know where i am going with this.

How do you get a 'vibe' from him. Fenris flirting is pretty low key and easily ignoriable. I is that little heart that bothers you, because that heart is in your dialog wheel. I seriously don't see the vibe.

No, we're not going to let you decide the sexual orientation of your party members. The PC? Sure, knock yourself out - after all, it's -your- character, and whatever sexual orientation you want to make them is entirely your choice. Party members, though? Nope. Giving those who are uncomfortable with same-sex romances and relationships the tools to avoid them is not something we're going to do, as doing to suggests that there's something there for people to 'protect' themselves from, which we aren't going to validate.
I'm sorry that same-sex romance makes you uncomfortable, but welcome to the world. End of the day, regardless of someone's sexual orientation, we're all people, worth the same respect and dignity, and we're not going to help anyone draw that line in the sand. Full stop.
