'she probably blew **** to get her that job'

is sexist. joke or not. especially when the joke is stale and not all that humorous to start with.

Oh, I thought it was, since she kinda has that personality.

Olivia Munn does sexier things and wears less clothing more often, though.

Hrrm.

I'm not sure what the point of this is. Is it a deflecting attempt?

Deflecting what, now?

Emily Wong was killed off? Why wasn't I notified of this in-game? I helped her in ME1 and ME2, damn it!

I honestly didn't care about Diana Allers. It was a free five points, so I let her come aboard. I don't think five points is worth everything we appear to have lost.

That is incredible.

Okay, next time I see a picture of a woman giving a work colleague a lapdance, sitting pantsless on a toilet and seductively licking objects, I will not jokingly talk about what kind of person she is.

What a first.

Whine whine whine. Someone on the internet didn't like my joke.

The level of maturity here is astounding.

I never said I was mature.

However, I'm not the one being upset that a sexist comment I made was not accepted happily by someone in my forum peer group. That was you. You don't want to get picked out on something, don't say it. If you do say it, be prepared to get picked out for it.

Simple as that.

I wasn't talking about just you.

And I'm not sure why you're reading things that I am not saying. But, hey, you can continue. This thread is becoming a good time waster.

You quoted me. I assumed you were talking about me. You'll have to be more clear next time.

So this is what I've seen:

You: Made an off color joke.
Me: Pointed out.
Others: Pointed out.
You: Attempt to support self. Post pictures of what you feel should warrent sexist language. Mention you are not the only one to say this. Still not getting the response you want.
You: Attempt to mock those calling you out. Discredit them. Still not getting the response you want.
You: Now acting sullen. Pulling back. Mentioning how emotionally not invested you are.

Sorry, mate, it looks bad. Hopefully next time more people will be on your side on this and it'll be my sort on the defensive.

I posted pictures that show the reasoning behind the "joke" and support why I said she was in game because of fan-service.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make.

Letting you know how I saw the conversation.

You want to make an off color joke, stick up to it or don't make it. I saw the joke as something produced from a very ugly part  of our culture. You can get defensive about me pointing it out, but that's perfectly fine.

Defensive?

No, no, no. Annoyed, irritated, flabbergasted, baffled. Loss for words.

No, these pictures accurately depict what I did and felt.

This is the first time I have ever, ever seen someone cry about something like this.

This is one of her lines in the game.

Diana Allers: I am my credibility and reputation. If word gets out that I got too close to a source, then I'm done.

Self-deprecating humor or unintentional irony? Let's speculate.

I'm not sure. My knowledge of arguments is poor.

I thought it was another attempt of yours to go "someone else is doing something and they're not getting picked on like me".

Is Olivia Munn posting here? WHERE?

Just sayin'.

Does more...

Oh, I'm sorry, I can't think of any nice words to describe all the suggestive things she does that wouldn't make you cry even more.

Honestly, if Chobot is in for fan-service, should've put in Munn instead. She is much more well-known, actually acted in movies and is much more willing to...

She does...

Less clothing...

I dunno.

And IGN sucks, ratings from them are hardly taken seriously.

It certainly is cheap of Bioware to have given her character so much time and attention when they just killed Kal'Reegar over an email and only showed Morinth as a banshee that appears out of nowhere. Mom Shep isn't shown or voiced either, she sends her regards through a third party.

Sorry, but there were more important characters in the series, they could have made an average looking reporter with a better voice actress and nobody would have complained, they might have said the character was uninteresting, but they wouldn't have raged over it.

Because we've been talking about Olivia Munn being in game instead of Chobot for a few pages now.

But you're only up my ass, aren't you?

It really just baffles me that they would put so much effort into a character that has so little impact, and no effort into a main character. To quote AVGN: What were they thinking?!

Excuse me? A different technique? And just what the hell are you trying to say, you annoying, whiney ****?

Like that?

A little softer? More rage? Or more trolling?

More love? More hatred?

This is getting pretty stale, but I guess I could always use an admirer on every forum I go to.

Will you follow me into a new thread, as well? Cry some more when I make an "off-color" joke? Flabbergast me some more?

Not many people get me so...flustered.

No...this needs a "shy" face like from Vindictus.

Yeah I found it by accident, since I'm not a fan of Twitter.  They made her have a heroic kamikaze death crashing her skycar into a Reaper.  Storytelling through tweets is now top quality, I guess.

She never did get that exclusive interview with Shepard.

I actually got grief from guys complaining about  Chobot being in ME3, lol. It's just that Chobot being in ME3 is saying *to me* that you have to be a hot looking chick to work in a game industry and licking video game consoles to get a voice role in a big game title.

So, what the hell, Bioware?

Well I kinda liked my idea of voice your own character (or characters).

Heck they could be shared over the web...

I really hated seeing that banshee with the tag Morinth above her head, how could Shepard even KNOW it was her? There should have been a mission where we found out she turned into a banshee, or at least more information.

They had limited resources to make the game, they should have used them better.. :(

I wanted to give her that interview and besides i think a heroic kamikaze death might be heroic but even against one of the small Reapers i knew that would be most probably pointless. No thought at all in giving even a decent death.

I smell corruption in the gaming industry between the developers and the big-time "reviewers."
