If creating machinimas or cutscenes, you will have to look through a lot of animations to find the right one. There are a ton of variations of them, and when using the animation blend tree editor you can use animations you never even thought of.
It's essential to be able to browse animations easily to see exactly how they look and how they play out. This is very, very tedious at the moment since you have to browse through the animation files and load each to see each one of them.
Is there a more effective way to do this?
Browsing Animations?

Hey Cid.
Yea I know, I have the excel sheet with animations listing Beerfish made as well.
But there are a lot of different run animations, attack animations, facial animations and so on. So when are going to combine these to make an animation where the character attacks while running and screaming, it takes a ton of time to browse and test each of the run, attack, and facial animations to get the result you want...
Not to mention the frustration of how you have to do it.

You are right, and in the Beerfish excel file a lot of animations are missing, for example those named *designer*.

This is unfortunate if that is the case because I did one version of the spreadsheet that had all of those in it along with a bunch of others. Then closer to release in the beta versions we were given a whole bunch of them were cut out and not present. I did a lot of editting and removed a lot of them. Now it seems they have reappeared.
Any one interested in editting and updating those sheets are more than welcome to it.
