For me it would be either later 2013 or early 2014. You?

Now lol.

But seriously though it's a tough one. I suppose it depends how long it's already been in developement for. early 2014 seems about right, whether or not thats enough time to make it epic I don't know, but I suspect that'll be it's release date.

Whenever BioWare decides to release it.

I agree. The autumn 2013 release would be ideal, would not really mind for it to happen in spring of 2014, either. However, patience is not a virtue highly regarded by corporate schedules.

when it's ready, hopefully before the X-box 720's release.

Nao. But realistically, I'm thinking either Spring or Summer 2013.

November 12th, 2013. If they release during the preceding summer, it would be cool to release on July 16th which would be 10 years and a day since they released Knights of the Old Republic.

10 years from now, kidding...

honestly I just want bioware to spend a good deal of time to make sure it is done right and everything makes sense story wise, art style, and character development.

My guess is it'll come out mid to late 2013.

My reasoning may be a tad bit cynical but... with the hints that ME3 may not necessarily be the end of the ME franchise, my bet is that EA wants to force Bioware onto the churn line - churn out a DA 2013, ME 2014, DA 2015, ME 2016. That's generally EA's pattern with its various subsidiary companies. They want a product out every year to maximise exposure and profit.

So I would say mid-2013 is the soft deadline for DA3 with late 2013 being the hard deadline.

remember EA fiscal year ends end of march.  This is already a new fiscal year that means bioware would have no new game coming out this fiscal year if it is mid 2013.

I am hoping EA changes their expectation of a game every year though, and allow for longer development cycles longer than 2 years for a game.

when Bioware have had all the time they need to make it as good as they can

hopefully on the current console generation as the rumours about the next generation needing an internet connection to play games (if true) is offputting and may cause me to stop buying new games and just playthrough the hundreds of games I already own (...I am a hoarder who buys lots of games)

Long enough to make their vision for the game a reality. No rushed development this time, EA.

Guys, it's EA we're talking about, they are going to try to make the deadline as short as possible. So 'when it's done' is great, but unrealistic.

I hope it comes out for the next generation of consoles so the developers can actually take advantage of last generation PC technology.

When people have steamed off. ...or stopped caring so much, or forgotten. The game need a quiet and tolerant reception. It need to be judged for what it is, not for what it isn't.

As long as it takes to be good. DA:O took long (hate games that take years after they are first announced). DA2 took one year. It's been a year so probably in 2013

I prefer to hope EA is smart enough to learn from it's mistakes. :innocent:
