I feel it was sickening to hear a old man say that to a child.
Whether or not the child will get to space or not I feel he will get sexually abused before then and have a troubled life ahead of him.

PROJECT SOME MORE.

Guy was given a cameo..it sadly was in one of the worst endings to a franchise since The Matrix. I feel sorry for him on that. Just 'cus.

Buzz Aldrin's been on the moon. I don't think he cares what a bunch of gamers think about his voice acting.

I'm actually more pissed off at Bioware for turning Buzz Aldrin into an in-game advertisement for more DLC.

That's pretty disrespectful in my opinion =/

What? Why would I feel sorry for Buzz Aldrin?
He was great in ME3 as a cameo. That moment was a great Easter egg!

The guy was the second person to walk on the moon, and was there during NASA's golden age. Why would I feel sorry for him? He's had an awesome life.

Honestly, I am totally on the side of other Retakers that hate the endings. The Stargazer scene was awesome though. Not because it was well written, (it wasn't) or because a lot of effort was put into it, (photoshop image) or because of good VA, (it was terrible) it was good because in my eyes, it's just awesome to have a real astronaut make a cameo in Mass Effect. It reminds me of when Stan Lee went down to Sony for a day during the making of God of War 2. It's just cool.

That scene is one of the few things I wouldn't change about the ending.

Buzz Aldrin once punched a man in the face for telling him that the moon landing was faked. He is awesome and shares none of the blame that Bioware can shoulder themselves.

Buzz was on a Simpsons episode. He is awesome to the max! As I said they just gave him terrible lines.

Counterpoint: Buzz Aldrin was a "guest host" on WWE Monday Night Raw a few years ago, and appeared intoxicated while on the show.

Wouldn't you get drunk if you were MC'ing a pro wresting event?

He tried to get the crowd to chant "USA." The event was being held in Canada.

Do I really need to say anything more?

The ending shocked me but the scene with him disgusted me.
Seriously if I saw something calling a kid "my sweet" I would call Social Services, I don't really care if you think he is good, old men are sexual predators to kids and I wouldn't trust one who said that.

No. Dude went to the moon and then was given lines in one of the greatest games ever made.

I am just disappointed that so many people ignored his lines.

"My sweet" sounds more like sexual nickname an old man would give a kid

I think a lot of people were just so pissed off about the ending that they didn't really appreciate how awesome it was to have an astronaut VA in the last scene. That and the DLC ad after his "One more story..." line might have thrown people off. Not his fault. I thought his cameo was great; the context just didn't work in his favor.

How is it Buzz Aldren's fault he got stuck at the end of ME3?

Please stop your "Feel Sorry" threads. It seems like you're trolling the forums over and over, trying to generate sympathy for people who aren't even being blamed for anything.

I agree. I think he was fine.

But he was never going to be able to top "This isn't the best time for your unique brand of bittersweet folk rock" ;)

Buzz Aldrin is a badass. He doesn't need the pity of a whiner like the OP. In fact, given historical precedent, he would probably punch you in the face.

Buzz Aldrin cares not for your entitled pity-party.

It was great to get Buzz Aldrin into ME, it's just a pity that it was one big missed opportunity. I'm sure as hell not going to have a go at him for that though.

I thought Buzz Aldrin sounds fine. Certainly better than Allers.

Soooo this. Seriously, people are complaining about Buzz Aldrin? Have you guys talked to Diana Allers? My god.. Jessica Chobot should stay away from voice acting for the rest of her life... It's not her thing.

Didn't care for the scene, but as I think on it now, that might have been bcuz the ending had me in such a terrible mood. Then the whole "buy dlc" message after that.

Also, I didn't like the dialogue written for Buzz. The "my sweet" line seemed so out of place.

Buzz Aldrin has been to space.  He has been to the moon.

I have done neither. I FEEL NO REMORSE!  [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/devil.png[/smilie]

Okay in all seriousness, did people actually get mad at his peformance?  I mean really?  Really!?!?
