-Upon meeting the Star Child and being presented with the choices: Wait, what? Could you repeat that? No?
-(Accidentally choosing the -destroy- option instead of the control option.)
-What -is- this? What is Joker doing there? What is -Liara- doing there, she was with me! What planet are they on? What?
-Replay ending
-Choose -control- option: Wait, what? This is -exactly- the same? And what happened to everyone? What happened to Shepard? What -is- this?
-Fuuuuuuu!!! (Nerdrage)
-Complain on Bioware forums, haven't stopped since.

Well I already knew roughly what was about to happen, having read it before.

But I got to the ending at around 3 in the morning after playing for 9 hours (with breaks!), so I wasn't thinking straight at all, so I was nicely wrapped up in the artistic creation.

The first thing I felt was relief - relief that I've finished with this confounded series => mental freedom!
Also a bit sad with Shepard jumping into the beam (synthesis), and a little satisfied with the fantastic music.

Then I slept on it and thought about it; then the whole thing fell apart... <_<

Needless to say, I was starting to get annoyed with the end from the start of the Final Mission. By the end, I was so frustrated that I chose the fourth option: I refused to play through that failure of an ending.

I've been spoiled about the endings before I was able to play the game at launch date, and my very first natural reaction was disbelief, followed by denial. "There has to be more of it suuuuurely..."

My first thoughts after the ending were that either I screwed up somewhere, or that there was a bug making the wrong ending fire. Didnt cross my mind that the ending i got was the ending i was supposed to get.

Okay I guess that is the end... why do I feel sick... let me see if the sythisis makes me feel better can't believe I just killed the geth... what this is the same ending just color shifted... wtf the Normandy still crashed... still feeling sick...

What just happened? Maybe there's a glitch and I'm missing something. Maybe it's because I chose Synthesis, I'll reload my save game and try again.

The Catalyst dialogue makes even less sense the second time! I'll choose Control, I won't kill the Geth that way. WTF! All that changed is the color of the explosion, and leaves aren't computers.

I'll try Destroy this time. God this slow walking is annoying 3 times in a row. Shut the hell up Catalyst! You shouldn't even exist! WTF was the purpose of Sovereign if the Citadel is a part of you? How am I gonna die because I have implants? Let me guess, a Red explosion...what do you know, I'm right.

I honestly did not think this was the ending till the credits where done and then I got that DAM message to BUY DLC!!!!!!!

I felt emptiness.

The emptiness of knowing that I had played through a hundred-plus hour story that had no end.

I kept expecting for there to be an actual conclusion, and the longer it went without providing one, the worse I felt. When the credits finally rolled, I was just numb.
