I then played through the final battle for a 3rd time with all the Brutes and Banshees, selected the 3rd ending.

I was utterly confused, of course it was like 4 A.M. so I thought I was just tired, but no the star child just was actually confusing me. I didnt know what to think.

I didnt mind the IT, but how everything just seemed to end with no closure it bothered me big time. I am still trying my best to go through it one more time to get my insanity achievement, but I seem to take constant breaks because of the ending :/

I had not read the endings before I played the game.
I was angry at myself for taking my LI and my favorite character in the final assault. I saw them die.

Then star Hitler came and started rambling about stuff that made no sence.

Them my LI teleported to Normandy that crashed into a planet. Since no other humans lived on the planet, Joker and my LI had to repopulate the planet.

I died and Joker banged my girl while the largest armada in the universe starved in Sol. And this was the best ending.

Came here. Read a lot. Went back to see if all the endings are really the same. They were.

Confusion. Despair. Disappointment. I had been on a non-stop binge. Took my only free day off for the whole semester to play everything after Tuchanka. At the end of a do everything playthrough, which had taken me until 4 am on the morning of a Genetics exam. I regretted none of it. Then I hit the ending, and it just fell apart. I just remembered feeling so sad that my favorite franchise, my favorite characters, my favorite thing in general ended like that. I felt stupid. Stupid for caring so much. Stupid for doing such a completionist playthrough. Stupid for pulling the all nighter just to get to that ending. I felt stupid and gutted. I still do.

I had been forewarned about the ending, so when I saw starchild making his way to Shepard, I said the above quote out loud.

On initially viewing starbrat I was intrigued(I'm more biased toward story than combat), then came what I can only describe describe as convoluted logic, but I was still hopeful, perhaps it was a mistake to build the crucible and now my Shepard gets a chance to sabotage this obviously malfunctioning AI, I would have to use the pistol to fight off hords of indoctrinated citadel citizens trying to keep me away from the controls.....alas what I got left with was a feeling of numbness rather than an epic feeling whether my Shepard lived or died.

It was really late, and I had stuff to do in the morning, so I just shut the game off without making a decision and went to bed.

The next day I went about my business, but the ending to the game hung over my head like a dark cloud. I almost never take naps, but I had to take a nap that day because I was so emotionally devestated and drained. I was depressed for the next couple of days.

Discovering that I wasn't the only one suffering, that there was a community who sympathized and could share this burden with me was a great help.

No more conspiracy theories. lol the ending was not botched on purpose...no company intentionally shoots themselves in the foot like this. Honestly this whole thing stinks of deadlines and rush job to me. The game is great up till the final scenes after the final Cerberus fight. From that point on it feels very rushed. If BioWare had another few months to work on the game, I bet we would have had a better ending. 

That makes sense as well.

My thoughts - wow I never though that Bioware will be up to the tragedy. Good work.. but where were Normandy going? I wasn't sad because Shepard died (blue ending) a hero and saved everyting. One dies saving trilions. The most noble death. I was proud of her, I missed her, I was sad, but when realized that everything was saved I was happy
