First of all let me start this topic by saying I'm very new to the Mass Effect franchise and not familiar with all the subjects and the game itself. I'm also not a native english speaker so please excuse me if I make any verbal mistakes.
So I bought Mass Effect 3, a great game with very good gameplay and amazing and full story, but I want to get the Paramour achivement, so basically I want to romance Liara (I dont want to romance Cortez because Im a foreveralone and I dont want to be gay in a video game
). So in the beggining I wanted to romance Ashly but after I played the game for a while I started to understand that it's too late for me to romance her because I started to think about it pretty late in the game. So from what I understand in order to romance Liara you need to speak to her when she is sitting at the Cafe in the Presilium (typo?) Commons in the Citadel, and after you talk to her a couple of times she will ask to meet you in your personal cabin in the Normandy, talking about someking of time travel machine (as I said I'm new to the game so I have to idea what this time traver machine thing is). After this I understanded that you will need to talk to her more on the Normandy and finally she will Invite you to meet in the Citadel near the porch in the market. So here is what I did. From what I remember I only talked to her once when she was sitting at the Cafe in the Citadel and I used the nice chat options. I am also 100% sure that I didnt meet with her in Shepard's personal cabin. I understanded that there is a part of this romance that needs to be done before Priority: Cerberus Headquarters, so I'm just before doing it, so I'm not played the campaign. I also understand that there is another part that you need to do before Priority: Citadel 2. From what I remember I talked to her when she was sitting in the Cafe before Priority: Citadel 2, but I talked to her in the porch AFTER Priority: Citadel 2. Now this is where things are getting (even more) confusing. I talked to her in the porch, and from what I understand at the end of the conversation you supposly need to kiss her and make a commitment. Well, when I had my converstaion with her I remember that I always pressed the nice, loving chat options (the ones that are on the top right edge of the chat circle), and at the end the conversation was finished by saying that we should hang more together and be friends or something like that. No kiss. So I dont know what to do. Can I still romance her if I'm in a such late stage of the game? I mean Liara is still standing at the porch and I can come and speak with her but all she's saying is "Hello" or something like that. Can I still romance her or did i fu**ed up? How can I romance her? Maybe it's connected to the fact that I didnt meet her in my personal cabin?I really appreciate any help from the people on the forum, and thank in advance for all those who read all this text to help me. I really want to romance her, please help me!
