I dont think you really need to get Fitness to 5, shield recharge rate is not important since you can refill your shield in 1 swoop and besides only using a SR as main weapon is really outdated, its not hurt to take a second weapon, I recommend the Reegar or Scorpion as your sidearm
Yeah my SI build is pretty outdated, I'll admit. Just posting it for the heck of it. After SI I did the HI w/ Black Widow and cryo only, (then TC nerf), then Claymore GI for awhile, Shadow, Harrier GI (oh god, the power) and now Harrier QMI (killstreaks anyone?).
I personally really dont like having 2 weapons but BioWare is making that harder to ignore.
Edit: The point of the shield recharge was to speed up the time to get a bit of shield (thus gate) back before re-cloaking. This was more useful pre-tc-nerf.

^This also works well but 6/6/6/6/0 works really well before Bioware decided to fck up everythinggrpm wrote...
I use 6/5/6/6/3, I think is the best build.
You don't actually need that extra damage in the Proximity Mine, I just use it to weaken and repel big hordes of enemies, I take the basic fitness points cuz I'm constantly reviving people and those extra shields and health really help.

For these reasons I can't see how HVB is better than EB on some of the heavier weapons. HVB gives more damage but the increased weapon weight is insane. Not worth it if you have a character that uses his/her powers often IMHO.

I'm a bit confused about your Salarian Infiltrator Sniper build. The weapon mods you recommend for the chosen weapons don't make too much sense because they would cause your power recharge speed to plummet would they not? Putting HVB and TS on the same weapon would increase the weapon weight by 100.00. Why on earth would anybody do this? You would have to wait FOREVER for your cloak to recharge after each use. That doesn't seem like a very good idea. Not to mention you won't be able to use Energy Drain as often either. And if you miss your target for whatever reason (squadmates running infront of you just as you are about to fire, Adepts causing the screen to shake with their powers and messing up your aim, etc.) then you're screwed because you'll have to wait an entire wave for your powers to recharge.

Infiltrators don't care about cooldown. If you cloak--->power---->shoot, your TC CD will always be 3 seconds.
Check out the Jav GI videos from the link in my sig to see how it works.

Plus you can never have enough penetration with sniper rifle. MOAR PENETRATION PLZ. Plus those mods are bugged on vanilla weapons so they don't add weightHolyAvenger wrote...
