As the title says, does anyone know what this song/melodi is called? Me and some friends just heard it, but we just can't figure out what it's called!
Thankful for all help! =]

Sounds like something I've heard in the commercials, but I could be wrong.

Err... An "elevator music" rendition of the chorus part from Janis Joplin's "Take A Piece Of My Heart?" LOL! Sorry mate... I dunno! Best of luck.

I would guess Jethro Tull, what with the vibe and the woodwind. Gonna ask my dad.

...According to the old man, "Sounds like one of the Tull clones. Niether Martin Barre nor Mick Abrams could play guitar that badly, or any of the other players; the flute player is too strained to be Ian Anderson unless it was recorded in gradeschool before he developed his huge technical prowess. Most likely a garage band clone." and "The instrumentals from Tull really ended after the Abrams era. He was so talented and inventive and instrumentals were his improv vehicle. He did things like removing strings from a 12 string trying for different sounds. The compilation album This Was featured him, after he left to form Bloodwyn Pig." and "Ian Anderson was good enough to play first desk in any of the world's orchestras. This guy isn't close. I don't recognize the tune and I have all the early Tull albums."

Well, hope that helps a little, at least by ruling out one of the main suggestions.

Your 'old man' has impeccable taste in music if he is a Tull fan.  :)

Yup, heard it a million times too. Darned if I know what it's called or who did it. I'm thinking 70's, maybe late 60's... know I've heard it in movies. It's going to bug me until I find out....

Aye, that's Tull all right, but be darned if I can tell you the name of the song.

"He thought Jethro Tull was a guy in the band, can you believe that?"

"Who is Jethro Tull?"

*disbelieving stare*
