On first playthough and I've gotten Leliana to 90+ Approval and she still only wants to talk about shoes or music.  What am I missing?

You're missing influence. If not her quest.

there is no such thing as infuence, with leiliana how ever some conversation only occurs at certain approval interval, if u stuff her with gift and boost the approval all the way up to 70+ without ever start a convo with her u will end up having only 1 or 2 convo topics and never able to get her personal quest or advance in personal relationship.



the only way to work around is to use console and drop the approval rating back to 20ish, or what ever interval u skipped. or load an easier save.

Just realised that I havent finished doing the personal quest yet. Been too sidetracked with main Plot



So I guess I have to finish personal quest first before I can advance relationship further, Even though I have approval at 95+ now?



Was just wondering because Morrigan does not have that problem. I still havent killed Flemeth and she doesnt seem to have noticed

As was said, if you raise her Approval too quickly and don't talk to her when you get to certain points, you lose certain dialogue options that nare needed to get into a relationship with her.



The first option presents at around 25+ Approval and if you made the wrong choice there, you're possibly SOL.
