So many ideas...
- A batarian engineer with a knack for blowing stuff up.
- A quarian infiltrator. He can cloak, sneak behind an enemy and slit his throat for massive damage.
- A salarian vanguard. Just because.
- And a yahg. With a bigass shotgun.
And all of them are romance options! *laughs*

I'm pretty sure that ME3 established that a quarian can use a knife to kill a geth quite well.GloryToChaos wrote...

Kirrahe is dead in the PS3 version of ME2 & 3. I'm not entirely sure BioWare hates us enough to make him a DLC companion... Actually, they just might, and give us his replacement.

Ensign Rodriguez from Grissom Academy, since there are enough males on the ship anyway (considering James' testosterone counts for 3 men). Get her all hopped upon RedMist and she'd be a pretty good replacement for Jack.
Dr. Jordan Detweiler/Ambassador Sygan: any of the members of the virtual consciousness would work, considering Sygan would probably be a bit of a stretch. We could learn more about their species and it would give Liara something to study since she was so disillusioned by Javik.
Oh, yeah, and Tazzik. The Normandy is seriously under-Salarianed , and a HUGE salarian keeps with the war-time theme of the crew

MARAUDER SHIELDS- whenever he is in your squad he tries to stop you from reaching the end of the mission so that you don't get to the terrible ending. His bonus powers are: AIDS field and the marauder shields super super nuke. You get the marauder shields phaeston rifle which does the damage of a black widow with the rate of fire of a hurricane with the low recoil of a geth smg and staggers all enemies, even sovereign-class reapers. Also can one shot reapers if hit on laser cannon/eye.

Hes dead in ps3 because you don't have mass efect 1 which is where you can make sure he survives. Too bad. Kirahhe is awesome.

Yeah, I know, heard he was awesome, but no. Dead, like Conrad. We lost cool side characters, but still kept the Butt Monkey reporter.
I really wanted to see Garrus light up when he seen the Scorpion, or Conrad's "...really?" in ME2.
