It's free. I was already ok with the ending so this makes me really happy. Can't wait for the multiplayer dlc as well.

Yes. I'm convinced the endings will become, um, acceptable.

It's not going to be perfect, but I'm fully satisfied if the trilogy becomes playable again.

A lot of people where saying "Just wait for the game and context" when the endings were leaked, I'm not gonna get all giddy for the EC, hopefully it doesn't suck.

Well if they totally screw it up, then I wont be happy, but we wont know that for another couple months (or until it gets leaked).

Yes really, thats how the greatest Sci-Fi story of the decade ended. Cmdr Sheperd rode a magic space elevator, met a glow in the dark toddler who gave him a choice of 3 colored wishes all of which ruined the galaxy with space magic and killed trillions of people. All of this happened in 14 lines of dialogue which he didn't question he just bent over and took it. Sheperd means Hero


And if the extended cut can make sense of that, then I'll be happy =)

I'm cautiously optimistic. BioWare are the ones that should really worry. The quality of the extended cut will determine what fan base loss they'll get. No doubt that if that does not improve the ending, people will be fed up and leave.

The only people who won't be happy are the ones who wanted a completely new ending. Those who just wanted more explanation should be happy.

I've been thinking that the endings were the way they were to set up Mass Effect 4, so after I thought like that I wasn't as annoyed with them. As long as there is Mass Effect after Mass Effect 3 I'll be happy

Of course I am a little happier. Just imagine they would have announced absolutely nothing yet...

I would still prefer a fix, but I guess that was just wishful thinking.

Yea but they could "add" alot to make it really different...for instance you could "add" the option to shoot Star-Jar in the face and kick his ass down the Synthesis pipe.

Happyer, yes. If I'm going to be really happy with it will show in summer.
The chances, that I will, would be better if they would have tossed the starchild away and made something new instead of just expanding on the current ending, but I'll not judge it, yet.
Lets wait and see. Maybe they'll manage to pull it off and make some really good thing out of that.

I'm hopeful they'll listen to enough of our feed back to give us something that actually fit the series, but I won't know if I'm happy with the changes until I actually see them.

They said it will be free. If they change their minds last minute and charge for it, oh my the **** storm they'd start.

But I'm happier. From stuff I've heard, it sounds like the Extended Cut DLC might make the ending a lot better. Of course, anything is better than the multicolored light show. I'll wait until I see it
