Not particularly. I never asked for clarity. The end is pretty clear .. not sure why people think that its not. The problem is that it doesn't make sense in the context of the story we've all been a part of for 5 years. It doesn't need clarity ... it needs to be re-written to fit the story that went before it.

I figure what will happen is they'll add back a few more lines of dialogue that they cut out the first time. Then you'll some quick cut-scenes of some of your assets fighting in the final push (Grunt, Wrex, Jacob, Rachni, etc.) and to give some the "happy ending" the "best ending" will probably add a few more seconds as your LI finds you in the rubble and you move or something,

Whatever. After reading the @masseffect twitter and what is being posted there, I don't even know what to say. "This game is perfect beyond belief" *shakes head* of course it is. *shrug*

I'm not sure what to think of it at this point.  Their description of what they're going to do was so generalized, it left me with more questions.  If they make cut scenes that are the same reguardless of your ending, it would be like sending them "EC Cupcakes".

The same thing, but longer.

On the other hand, if the cut scenes they add are different for every playthrough depending on how you played and what decisions you made.  It could be enough of an improvement that I might be satisfied with the ending.  But who knows for sure.  Will just have to wait and see what in fact they actually do with it.

Either way, I might not buy EA games anymore just because of that Origin requirement.  If construction workers down the road carelessly cut my line and I lose internet for a week (had it happen once), or thunderstorms take my internet down.  I'm SOL and can't play my single player games until my service provider gets around to sending some techs out to fix the problem.  Sure I can find something else to do, but that's beside the point.  I shouldn't need to be connected to the internet just to get a single player game that I payed for to boot up.

Just wait for the next gen systems where if you don't have the internet they don't do anything. The game industry is forcing online down our throats even though large areas don't even have high speed internet yet. Heck rural parts of PA still don't have cable yet.

I want to say yes, but not really. I suppose they could surprise me and actually extend it in a way that makes it good, but that would require more than just some epilogue cut scenes. Short of them rewriting everything from Anderson dying on, I doubt that I’d even bother downloading it.

I am glad they are doing something and while it doesn't give a new ending it may answer the annoying plot holes.

I just can't believe we got told there'd be an ending where the Reapers win, and there still isn't one.
Also, why not a happier ending?

I'm concerned that it'll just reiterate the fact that the endings are ****ty, but we'll find out in the summer I guess... Unless something gets leaked, which is likely given ME3's recent history.

I am. Eagerly awaiting to play it. I don't need completely new ending, there's alot I like about the current ending, I just need plotholes fixed and more information provided

Really all I wanted was a "director commentary" to help explain WTF they were thinking. Maybe that would help me see the "light" on the endings. I guess the EC will provide a more in game "commentary" but really the extra work that delays something I might actually want (retaking Omega) likely won't be worth it.

Honestly, all I originally wanted was clarification (thus a reason I never joined the retakers, they seemed predominantly interested in a new ending completely) so this is likely going to satisfy my current disappointment... so I think yeah, it will make me happy.

i will look at it on youtube i will not down load it tell i know what it is like and then maybe i will play through it. the way the have handled this has left me with little to no good will so i don't have much hope for it.

That would be the best option. Somehow it doesn't seem likely. It takes guts to admit mistake, and so far there is no sign that BioWare has it.

I want to see if they can explain it without making it more confusing or generating more plot holes. That's the real problem I have with it, they aren't changing the ending they are just "clarifying" so its going to be harder on them to explain wth is going on. Me, I would have retcon the starchild and relays exploding and the ending would have been 110% better then what we have now. + some harbinger love in there.

everything after Illusive man just needs a nice deep soothing Retcon. give more options that make sence. let us see what happens to our Love Intrest and squad mates. what happens to all the ships at earth. see everything start to rebuild.

I'm happy they are trying something but they are not doing what the fans are asking. the inpression I'm getting is they think nothing is wrong with the current ending and all we need is some "Clarifiaction"
we don't need that. we need an ending that make sense and we have a choise in.
personally I have started writing my own ending for both my male and female Sheperds

I could never be sad when a game is providing more content for free. So yeah I'm looking forward to it.
