After an involving story of ME1 and a campaign of saving all my squadmates in ME2, I just don't understand the point of the "galactic readiness" In ME3?
Ok you could argue that the idea of the multiplayer improves the military strength of your forces when you take on the reapers, but was it really that rewarding to boost your military strength past an easily achievable 2800?
Sorry It may have turned into a bit of a winge, but what am I overall trying to achieve by aiming for a 100% readiness?
Many thanks
Why the concept of the Galactic Readiness?

EA wants you to buy DLC or play multiplayer and buy MP crap.

To get the full ending you actually need 4000+ EMS, for that you will need multiplayer. That said, it really is just a cheap ploy to get people who wouldn't otherwise play multiplayer to play it.
