Even if the DLC ending fixes every cimplaint you have, will you still feel differently about the series and Bioware?

I will not feel the same, but in a more positive sense.

I didnt HATE the endings like so many here, but I found them a bit lacking, and I am really impressed that Bioware is considering our feedback so important that they are willing to use money & time to make it better, at no expense to us.

If I wasnt a Bioware fan before, I sure as hell am one now.

Basically it doesn't fix starbrat. If it does, I might be inclined to feel differently.

i actually dont care about the PR fiasco. its all about the ending being one big pile of "what?" that needs fixed for me. if they fix it, great, ill buy me3 dlc and future me games.

if not, done with bioware as a whole after this (assuming its not fixed) coming off the heels of a very plain and mediocre da2 and a meh swtor.

I feel similar to you op. However instead of blocking the series out comletely i began replaying ME1 to take my mind off the ending and it has worked beautifully. I have fallen in love with the story and the universe all over again. I have faith (though cautious faith) in Bioware and i just hope they can repair the damage done.

You can't change the endings by adding to it, but you can make it look prettier. If they fix EVERY complaint I have? (which is impossible) Then I will forgive BioWare. Pardon the arrogance, but this is hard earned money were talking about here.

I will feel different about them. I have every since Dragon Age 2. Now with the ending of ME3 and who they've handled it, I won't feel the same. If they do a good job with it I might look into buying more Bioware stuff but I'm not sure I'll ever pre-order again.

They've definately botched their handling of this, make no mistake.

However, if the extended cut makes good on all of the claims they made about the ending pre-release, then all is good. I'll enjoy multiple play throughs, buy DLC and buy games new (their lies have permanantly lost my pre-order and day 1 release dollars tho'). If the extended cut does not deliver on their original claims, then they will never see another dime of my money.

I will feel differently to both if it had started out end been perfect from the start, and from now.

The magic of the first playthrough has already been destroyed, and Bioware's handling of this in the communications department has been sub par.

However, it will make the game a lot better, and I will be able to replay it. It will also prove that Bioware does care about its fans, and will listen to us.

If it does fix everything, I will be cautiously optimistic about DA3 and their next set of games.
If it doesn't, I will be varying degrees of pessimistic dependent on how badly it does. It will vary from being indifferent about their next games, to actively avoiding their next games as I know I will not like them.
