Don't ask me why he brought it up.

To see if people know what they were talking about , and guess they don´t honestly you are not logical .
So please stop pretending be logical , think people like you should do more homework research especially about the company they work for .

And especially about the current market , before they try to play the fool me around game , that you fail so miserably at .
Same as the other one .

Sorry want more alternative endings won´t settle for less now .

Casy Hudson has directed 3 projects previous to ME3 starting with KOTOR in 2003 so he's not new to this by any means.

You should probably read this:
Where Patrick Weekes, one of the writers, says the Mass Relays didn't go nova the way the alpha relay did... so the galaxy isn't destroyed.

What is with all this logical talk? I'm not pretending to be anything, I'm offering counter points to your points (hesitating to call them that anymore). Also what company that they work for? Who is they? I hope you're not refering to me.

I'm not trying to fool you about anything. But I am going to stop responding to you as you're going off topic and not making a whole load of sense.

Did you ever play the game cause you are boring , you are not even a fan .
Honestly when you going trough that route do you even love the game ?
Saying main characters didn´t matter , we will end up the whole game didn´t matter to YOU !!

So please stop cause you are only talking yourself into a deadman trap .
So don´t even have to continue on , about changes nothing , when you are using main characters that stereo type this frenchise as it doesn´t matter .

I think you are totally not even intune with this product .
Cause why play computer games ? it doesn´t matter !!

Fan or not, the choices you make in the game do not affect the endings like you claims. Some choices didn't even matter outside of Dialogue/Cutscenes.

Being a fan and getting invested into the story doesn't change the fact that the only choices you have are the ones that are available to you within the game. And that it doesn't matter what choices you make in the series all the games end the same way regardless. Only ME3 had different endings but they still end the same way regardless if you romanced a character or not. :bandit:

But I get what your trying to say. Personal feelings > game mechanics/limitations.

I think he believes anyone who defends the endings or the extended dlc work for Bioware/EA? Cause True Fans would be raging and setting fires in the streets right now?

Well they didn´t go nova , what is the residue fireworks .. wow those residue is big and nice ...
Yeah ok I can also think tech bubble talk , let see shepard didn´t die , he lived on as god
Normandy got sent into a time loop , eh the starchild was just a fiction of a dying shepard imagination .

Honestly sorry the ending will not do , since it is linear !!
That is the problem , you cannot have a linear ending , in a game of choice . that drops all he has written in previous games .

No matter how much they extend it , it will not DO !! .
Since there is no consistency with the ending and the whole mainplot of the previous games .
I cannot even say it is a rushed ending , it simply a one shot play trough ending .
But it has nothing to do with deus ex machina , it is simply rubbishe .

somebody who says it doesn´t matter choices doesn´t matter to critical parts of the game ,
Shows how he doesn´t even understand the game .
Let alone dare to try to bring up logical augments .or even defend the product .
Cause it doesn´t matter ..

This is seriously going to be my final reply to you. You're the one who hasn't actually brought a logical point throughout the entire discussion. Other than rail-roading the thread, you've succeded in pretty much adding nothing to the discussion.

I'm all for hearing other people's views (I'd love to in fact). But only if they make sense and actually state something worth while.

If you want to believe your opinion over rides that of the people who wrote the damn thing then that's your choice... However all the ME games have endings that are more linear then open.  In ME 1 you have two options with three outcomes.  Save the council and humanity gets to join.  Let the council die and they rebuild it either with humans and aliens or with just humans.  Not matter which one happens they still ignore Shepard's warning about the Reapers so no matter what you start in the same place in ME2.  Then by the end of ME 2 you get two options.  Destroy the collector base or save it.  Yes things play out differently depending on who lives or dies but as long as Shepard lives it doesn't matter because you still wind up on earth relieved of duty because of the events in The Arrival DLC whether you played it or not... Yes your choices have impact on the body of the game but when it comes to the ending then it has always funneled down to one of a couple choices.

My opnion is that of business point view , and that counts !
Money talks in this world , especially money invested in escapisme .
And this was a very very bad stunt , that cost more on long term then they think !
EA voted worst company in America over bank of America ?

Gee how long before we start deleting our aps on IOS ?
No like said no wonder they have problems with SWTOR , cause people don´t want to log in anymore . nothing matters .

That is important to EA money money money , and this product caused them to lose money and fans big time .

*eyeroll* I don't even know. Your money didn't make a difference to Bioware and I think they are making the clarify DLC to help out the people asking for more clarification cause the endings are a bit confusing... but, - and I fully support this too - they have no plans to give in to those of you dumping money into things, thinking Bioware has to listen to money (weird that for tthese proclaimed money grubbers that all the money being offered to them they don't want it in preference to staying true to their visionImage IPB) and demanding new endings cause the one you got wasn't the one you wanted.

If Bioware really was just in it for the money they would make new endings and charge for them, since pretty much everyone from Retakers to those of us who are fine with the game are willing to pay for it and instead they are sticking to their guns making us free DLC and generally being kind to a forum of fans that haven't been very kind to them. Lame sauce.

The endings have plot holes that need filling/explaining, and they have agreed to do so. All is well in the world. Image IPB

Woot! Can't wait for the dlc! I've had faith in Bioware since I finished the game and I hope hope they make the haters regret every stupid thing they've said. Bioware had a plan, its changed because of the fans, but I have no doubt they will stick to it and blow everyone away. Bring on the answers Bioware like you had planned before the game came out!

Finally a fresh thread for once thank you OP for sharing this. The constant ripping the game apart arguments really are getting quite dull. I too would like to than Bioware for the best entertainment that I was lucky to take part in enjoying.

I for one am so cool with Bioware making an extended cut DLC (never had a real problem with the original ending but more is better I guess) and I really hope they are going to deliver some grade A storytelling (like usual)

All I wanted was closure and to see the consequences of my choices. You can keep Starchild for all I give a damn, but as long as I get closure (and you fix[retcon] the plot holes) I'm cool.
