Sex / Nudity - Fade to black / censored

This is one area where Witcher 2 actually trumps Bioware in actually delivering the goods without squeemish stupidity. Do we need rampant prostitution or mindless sex ? - No

However, if your gonna play romance scenes... actually show whats going on rather than being cowards.

I'm aware. So much wrong with her ending up as a banshee though when Samara doesn't though. Sense made: 0. Just bioware being too lazy to put her in the game.

Disagree, I don't need a hentai in the middle of my game. Witcher 1 was tasteful, Witcher 2 was not.

What do you expect?  I can tell you why I'm afraid of the human body's naked form:  I've been conditioned toassociate it with death by horror movies.  Whenever I see someone gets naked in horror movie like Haloween or Friday the 13th, they're about to be murdered in an exceptionally painful way.  Only the characters who never take off their clothes survive.  If Traynor took off her underwear while showering with Femshep, I'd almost be too afraid to look at my television, because part of me would think that she is about to get impaled by a masked madman who lives in the spaces between the Normandy's pressure hull and the ablative plating.

Yep. It's almost as if a huge chunk of the sexual content in that game wasn't prostitution and mindless sex.

Yeah, I think if you're going to censor something, censor all of it...kind of. I don't know why there's all this censorship in the world, like they're trying to cover something up. I don't believe anything should be sensored, things happen in the real world, why try to cover it up and make it look "innocent" like some fairy tale?

We can see mutilated genitals and bloated stomachs and sagging breasts because horrific Body Horror and graphic violence is a-okay funtiemz.  We cannot see healthy breasts/genitals, etc, during love scenes because ZOMG SEX IS SINFUL WE WILL TRAUMATIZE EVERYONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN.

Because that is how the hive mind works in our massively f-ed up culture.

That, or everyone on the Normandy is a never nude.  I am still having some internal debate on this point.

I don't think it has anything to do with having your game be perverted. There is a bit of fan service involved in the game (yeah, like they really need to use all those low angles in Miranda's scenes) but I don't think it's wrong to ask for your romance scenes to have tasteful nudity.

That would be artistic integrity we can all agree on.
