Even after we're told that we're getting an extended ending that isn't as abrupt/nonsensical? Even after the Patrick Weekes interview where he stated what could have been doen better with the ending? Even after the DLC was announced to be free? What'll it take to make the fans here happy? Will Bioware Edmonton have to go out of business after EA's stock drops and all employees be shifted over to dvelop casual mobile game spinoff of EA Sports franchises in order to sate the fanrage?

Bioware marketed a game where our choices in the game mattered, and would craft a highly variable ending. That's not what we were eventually sold, though. Clarifying the ONE Ending that every person gets regardless of what decisions we made across all three games doesn't fix this.

The main complaint wasn't met. The ending is still the same. All their doing is extending on the current bad ending. Star Child still exists, and is still as out of place as he was before. Everything that made the ending bad is still there.

the ending is going to clarify what the ending ment, for many myself included the ending did not live up to expectations and remarks that the developer said. so the fact that they are carifying something plothole filled is still gonna have those plotholes and inconsistencies with the rest of the game.

Some people will not be happy, personally I am waiting for the DLC to make up my mind. But as someone said before you can polish a price of crap but it doesn't make it any better. Personally I'm more on the neutral side atm

It'll take them dropping the "I'm right, you're wrong" mentality and actually changing the POS ending. Or they can give me back my 60 dollars.

And believe me, either one will do.

Things are a bit better, I think alot of people are waiting to see what the DLC brings myself included.

I admit we won't know for sure until the DLC is released but at the moment it doesn't look as though they are fixing the issues with the ending. Now it seems they'll just going to make the crap finale we already have even longer. Hence, "extended".

If you have to clarify your ending, there's something wrong with it. All the answers should have already been included. They're ignoring what fans are complaining about and instead are delivering a complete misfire. Basically, "Let me put some sugar on your rotten eggs there."

Extended bad ending is still bad ending.

Better than nothing by far, but the rubbing "artistic integrity" in concerned fans' faces then saying they aren't changing but "clarifying" it is not what people wanted.

So are people still upset? Yes.

The ending is damn terrible and made no sense

they're going to make is less nonsense, but it'll still be terrible and non sense

I mean, I could come up with answers to all plot holes myself...
"Mass Relays didn't exploded, they overloaded"
"Joker didn't run away, he got accidentaly transported when the mass relay activated"
"Nobody starves to death because the fleets have provisions enough to travel to another systems with their own FTL cores"

Did this make the ending any good? Does the Starchild logic seems right now? Does your choices made any difference in the game? No

I don't agree with the OP, but you don't have to go there.


OP, in short, just because a DLC is free doesn't mean it's what we asked for.  Bioware said they were listening, then delivered this; which is why people are complaining.

welcome to bsn. people will complain about anything and everything. if it wasnt the ending it would be something else. nevermind the fact that we are getting two free dlcs and the fact that the rest of the game was great. they didnt like the ending so they are out to ruin the whole game and the whole series rep because of it.
