You know it's not just memes. Anyway, egocentric may be too strong a word. It's somewhere between that and perfectly objective.

Meh well all I took it to was Memes anything more I had no part of. Didn't like the endings but ah well Free DLC coming out can't complain.

I wasn't specifically referring to you when I said abuse.

Nah I get it all the flame wars do get a little tiring. BSN can always use humour lol.

The thing is, we don't want an extended cut. We don't want "clarification"; we want a new ending. And we want the holographic Star Child to take a long walk out the airlock. Somebody buzz this guy that YouTube video, the one with Genre/Characters/Narrative thing. I forget what it's called.

No quite frankly there should be more hate and displeasure. Not even counting the endings there was so much missed opportunity that would have taken Mass Effect to the next level, There was so much potential in this game, I mean look at all the work the creators did to spawn this universe. Each species had it's own individual religions, beliefs, way of doing things and what do you see of that in Mass Effect 3? Little to nothing. In Mass Effect 1 they created a species that you would only ever see for one planet ( the gas bags of Eden Prime) they didn't have to do that, you could have easily removed them from the game and you would have gotten the same feeling out it. Did they do anything like that for ME3? No, they merely did the bear minimum to get this game out and on time for an arbitrary deadline cooked up by EA. I mean for Blasto's sake why does every single military use the Mantis gunship, I want to see some variety in there. But here is the thing I could have forgiven all of this but sadly the ending sucked and it sucked hard and let's not forget this isn't simply the ending to Mass Effect 3, this is an ending that has been built up for almost half a freaking decade, when you do that you don't ask is it good enough....no no no my friend you ask How can we make it better? So we have told them the edning sucks we do not like it and they say that they are listening. So what do they do with all the information that they have gathered from our well thought out and quite frankly respectful  complaints they try to redress the same ending but in a different skirt. It's not the clothes bioware that bothered us it was the endings personality. So if you are not angry you are not paying attention. /rant

Are people STILL complaining about people complaining? You'd think people would have something better to do than spend their time trying to gain a false sense of superiority over people on an internet forum.

Oh wait...clearly not...

people wanted ending DLC, they got ending DLC.

I don't know what some are still complaining about and it's getting really boring with endless topics flaming BioWare.

They're still complaining because Bioware is basically telling us why the ending sucks. So it's not that suprising that people are still complaining, nothing about the ending has changed, which is what the fans wanted.

If you have to clarify your ending, there's something wrong with it. All the answers should have already been included. They're ignoring what fans are complaining about and instead are delivering a complete misfire. Basically, "Let me put some sugar on your rotten eggs there."

I complain because I want a diffrent Ending, that something got Change or a new One get add to the existent one.

They do nothing of this. So... why should I stop complaining?

Don't you think that's entitlement to the core?

People want change, they got change. Just because BioWare doesn't completely keel over and accept every fan demand doesn't mean they aren't listening.

If they weren't listening, we'd be getting NO DLC.

Also some of the requests are just plain luxurious and add no value to the game whatsover. Tali's face? Emily Wong? Give me a break. The ending was a mess and needs sorted, I agree, but they are already doing that.

I want to join Saren on his conquest for world domination in my renegade Femshep playthrough. But I don't demand that Bioware let me have that CHOICE in NEW ME1 ENDING DLC because it would mean retconning ME2 and ME3. It's crazy.

They can't give you ALL the choices possible. There's a limit and people need to accept that.

Where the Hell did you see the possibilty of Change?

Are there going to be more/different endings or ending DLCs in the future?
  • No. BioWare strongly believes in the team’s artistic vision for the
end of this arc of the Mass Effect franchise. The extended cut DLC will
expand on the existing endings, but no further ending DLC is planned.
http://blog.bioware....3-extended-cut/

No changes, no diffrent Endings. Just expand version of the existed one.

Maybe they are listineng, but they don't understand. Or don't care.

It doesn’t help that every 5 minutes someone finds it necessary to create a new thread that’s asking for conflict. Basically, a thread that has been regurgitated over and over and over........ The complaining at times gets out of hand but the hundredth thread of people complaining about complaining is just inflammatory. Believe it or not there is some positive dialog occurring, so by all means avoid those threads so you can continue to perpetuate complaining.

They seem to be aiming to connect the dots better with their original ending idea because they think we didn't 'get it'.

The problem is...not many liked the original ending idea, so it will likely fall flat.

I got "it", I still think "it" sucked.

I'd like a new "it", not an elongated clarification of the "it" that sucked.

For some reason certain people don't seem to be able to stand the idea that others won't always meekly accept whatever they're served. It's particularly annoying when people bring up such arguments as "It's free!", as if it isn't the content that's the most important thing. I can understand the "Wait and see" group (which I'm starting to fall into) but not the others. I've heard enough hints that suggest that they may be able to pull off something that's tolerable even if it's far from perfect.

The "complainers" are people who want quality and effort put into whatever they buy. The "complainers about the complainers" accept lack of quality where it really matters and sound to me like they would accept a book with the last few pages torn out, or a girlfriend, who after patient months of dating, turns out to be a man (well, it's only the very last moment that dissapointed you, you got several months you enjoyed!)

There's a lot they can do without changing the ending that would make a lot of people satisfied

1) If they clarify that the Mass Relays didn't go supernova in all 3 endings
2) That FTL travel is still possible
3) Epilogues - that's getting fixed
4) More dialogue lines to clarify starbrat's nonsensical drivel
5) Joker's abandonment - that's getting fixed

It's all very fixable. If you want to the choice to say NO to starchild, then I go back to my previous point of wanting the choice to say YES to Saren in ME1.

There are limits to the intended narrative and you can't expect BioWare to go out of their way to pamper everyone.

The most could do is turn an atrocious ending into a fairly poor one. That may be enough. Clarification could certainly give enough difference in endings IMO - a series of cinematics with enough variety depending upon EMS and previous choices would do that without changing anything. The starbrat choices were, IMO, just him trying to talk you out of doing what you'd come to do anyway. It doesn't stop you (although the "shoot the tubes" thing needs to be addressed) so doesn't invalidate the whole choice issue. It would also be great to get a scene showing that if you do do what he wants then you've fallen into his trap. It wouldn't make the character any good but there would be some point in it.

Joker running away getting fixed needs a rescue as well as an explanation to stop me from being upset about it otherwise all of Shepard's personal goals have failed.

1.) Arrival explanation: Supernova. Ending explanation: No Supernova. Its just irritating, no matter how you explain it.
2.) Sure, why not? You don't need Mass Relays for FTL, you just need E-Zero. No Problem with that. But still, its not close that fast like a Mass Relay-Jump. Than coming with: Oh, we just found a way to do it that fast or close that fast pops out of nothing. Cool thing. Totaly Cheap.
3. ) Thats true, an Epiloge can be made. But its still an epiloge of an terrible Ending.
4.)  Explaining me why hes stupid und nonsensical don't change the Fact that hes Stupid and Nonsensical.
5.) Thats a Point I really wonder how they explain it. Can't Imagine a Reason I would be ok with right now, but lets just wait and see. I bet i will be funny. Sad, but funny, lot to laugh.
