Barring Javik of course, am I the only one who feels that we should have a Krogan? This is the first time that we haven't had one from the vanilla game, and the first two, Wrex and Grunt, were two of the games best characters in my opinion. I'd like to here others thought on this.
First DLC Squadmember should be a Krogan

I wouldn't mind a female Krogan... or female Turian.

I'd like to see something we haven't seen before.

I really miss the abundant amount of squadmates you possess in ME2. I remember doing a 'worst choice' run from ME3, the only people I saved in ME2 were morinth and jacob, who have no effect on the plot whatsoever. Garrus and tali died in ME2 and I killed Ashley. If not for Javik I would only have 3 other squadmates (James, Edi, Liara).
need more squadmates.

Absolutely. We NEEDED a krogan, James was alright I guess but he's no krogan. It just felt wrong without one

It would be the second DLC squadmate since we already have Javik. The ones we have right now are enough though. I hated having so many squadmates in 2 since only a few ever got used.

How about the other VS as a DLC squaddie?

I'd like to see that, if only for the anger it would cause.LadyofRivendell wrote...

no thanks....I'm one of those people who would have strapped both of them to the bomb on Virmire so I could have had more ME2 squadmates on the Normandy in ME3

He would need to be affected a lot by Shepards actions regarding the genophage.
Anyone got ideas for candidates?

What about Jorgal Thurak? After the genophage is cured most of the clans swore fealty (or whatever the Krogan equivalent is?) so wouldn't he be without Power over anyone, maybe Wrex/Wreav would send him to help Shepard as an insult to the Jorgal clan, but throughout the game he would come to respect Shepard as a capable warrior and the true cuter of the genophage,

I have suggested a few possible squad mates through my fic, almost any of which would be pretty cool to see, I reckon. Made some motivationals for them to help me keep their personalities in mind when I write about them. The artwork is not mine, but the text underneath them is.
So first I've got Etarn, a Batarian political figure who supports peace with Humanity. Biotic Vanguard.

Next up is the Revenant, the last Collector. One of the Collectors who helped introduce the plague to Omega, he was off the base when Shepard and co arrived. When the rest of his race died, he inherited the sum knowledge of the Collectors through their Hive Mind compacting into his brain. Maybe not so promising a candidate now that we have Javik. Biotic Adept.

Delexia Tanis, Turian pirate. Her ship was destroyed during an early Reaper attack, encouraging her to join the Commander. Soldier

Jano'Yorish: Quarian Wardancer. He belongs to a sect of Quarian martial artists who believe in purity of the mind through purity of the body, training until they achieve physical excellence. Marooned by the Moreh, he joined the Normandy. Soldier.

Urdnot Jorall: Wrex's grandfather. Half of his upper body has been replaced with cybernetic parts, including a sizeable portion of his face. Jorall is a scientist, with an incredibly sharp mind for a Krogan. He is over three thousand years old, and has been imprisoned by an enemy of Clan Urdnot for centuries for some as yet undisclosed crime. Engineer.

Falere: Samara's daughter. An Ardat-Yakshi, she melded with a Reaper to kill it, leading to her possessing a Reaper Cipher that helps her understand the enemy's technology. Her biotics have been adversely affected by the meld, meaning she is biotically weaker than most Asari. Sentinel.

That's what I've got, anyway. Personally, I'd really like to see something like Jorall or Etarn join the team. They're darker characters, not necessarily Paragons.

Sorry but I'd rather see a male quarian or a female turian as a squadmate than a krogan. Unless it'd be a female krogan. xD

That krogan squadmate could be Grunt or Wrex. I don't want next krogan introduced.
I want batarian or female turian (as someone said before me).
Or squadmate from ME2 (except Jacob) - preferably Zaeed <3
