yup tis starting to get pretty late in the day :P want to see if they went the cheap, dirty quick route and fixed faced import with a like or like conversion; or if they actually put some effort into it and used the game's previous face mesh like ME2 did for ME1 imports.

I bought the game yesterday, but could not bring myself to playing my imported Shepard with different face. I've decided to wait for this patch, hoping that it will really enable me to continue playing my Shepard with his face he has since ME1. As ugly as it is, it's still the only look with which my Shepard can finish his story.
To kill the time while waiting for the patch I've been enjoying the multiplayer mode. For a distraction it is quite a successful one, I might say.

Yeah....i´m a hell of sick waiting.

Going to play MP for a longer while and wipe some sorry asses with my badass mood!!

Will check in later again at evening to see if the patch has come and if it WORKS!!!!

If not.....lighting a whole bunch of torches for the coming outrage about this fail.

I just did the "check for updates" in Origins and it seemed like I may have downloaded something - but it was so fast it was hard to tell. I've checked my file version and it reads:

MassEffect3Config 1.3.0.1

You have to remember what time zone BioWare Edmonton is in - they're just getting to work now, it's still morning there...

Respectfully: disagree. It's Easter Monday, so:
  • either the patch release doesn't need any more human intervention and will go live whenever they set it to go live
  • or, someone needs to click "go live" which might explain possible delays,
  • or they mixed up the dates.

It's a UK bank holiday it's not "Easter" anything. Not all countries have a holiday today. And even so most developers and media companies in general work over holidays. It's not like a 9 to 5 office job where you always get weekends and holidays off. You are generalising.

Whenever something has been released it's been done on Canadian time so for the Brits it's in the evening.

Also BioWare usually releases Patch/DLC stuff any time after 10:00AM MDT

Again you are generalising that everyone who works there is religious (It's not a holy day anyway it's a bank holiday). But they do work on holidays. They have a busy job and deadlines to meet. It's a competitive job that does not rest. And if you can't work hard enough they can find somebody who will. That's how the industry is.

I guess nobody ever reads the posts here, sad! The same question over and over that was answered on the first page--They are in a different time zone!!!! It's mountain or pacific time and that being said, past experience is 4:00 PM their time. So get over it, and be patient.

They are UTC -6. Most of Europe is UTC +1; so, if they're going to release the patch after 10:00 AM MDT, we'll get it after 7:00 PM here. We have to consider ourselves lucky if they don't delay the patch 3 days in Europe, as they did with the game.

41.3MB patch just went live on my origin.

This must be the 1.02 one.

Thats for EU btw.

You might wanna update your game just to see if you get a 41.3MB patch aswell just saying.

Yep...updated with 41.3 MB. German time: 7:00 PM

Imported my ME2 Shep (Created in ME1) with WORKING FACE IMPORT.

BUT --> Still a little difference. The Haircut is not fully correct and the eyes (Form of the eyes) are not the way it is in ME1 and ME2. Well, minor problem.

There were differences when importing a ME savegame in ME2, too. But in ME3 you can import your Shepard and adjust his/her face; you couldn't do this in ME2. It's a progress, isn't it?

Yep, same here. At least the face import works now, although there might be differences due to engine changes and such.
