 Yes I know I JUST made another weapon thread, but God damnit I can't hold it in. The Revenant is ****ing god tier, even on Gold people are dying left, and right with this gun. Phantoms run at the sight of me(and stab me in the back), Atlases bow before me.  

I have underestimated this gun in the past, but holy ****.. This thing is amazing thats all there really is to say on the matter.

It contains a godly amount of uselessness, that's true. You can have my 5 levels of Revenant in exchange for something useful any day.

Are you using it right? I put stability, and a scope on my Rev, and I shoot in bursts. Nothing stays alive very long after that. Plus the fact that it staggers is just icing on the cake.

Well, i´m using my level 8 Revenant with a Asari Expert. Added with extra ammo mod (Makes 108 rounds in one clip) and scope plus using bursts and not only autofire i can do considerable damage....especially when ammo equipped with Disruptor-, Ice-, Fire- or Warp-Ammo.

I love that rifle. Only downsize is reload time. In critical moments it can be deadly for me.

Although my level 10 Phaeston rifle can do similar damage (When Revenant not equipped with barrel mod) and is more precisive plus less weight & reload time, i prefer my lvl. 8 Revenant and my lvl. 10 M-6 Carnifex. With that i still have +87 on cooldown. And with a lvl. 10 Phalanx i have +108 on cooldown. When going Gold i´ll certainly swap that config to something, which gives me +190 - +200 on cooldown. But on silver i´m doing good with the above config.

I love that rifle.

I use Armor piercing with mine, so Guardians, and the big targets don't last long against me. Also, being able to shoot through cover is invaluable to me.

It's not underrated by any stretch. If anything, it gets surprisingly much use considering it's not that good of a weapon. On a Turian Soldier, it's decent, but that's about it.

I'm much more of a sniper guy. That's why I "underate" it. I never got over my disappointment in it after using it in ME2 either.
I don't really care what people use though, so long as they have fun and play as part of the team.

Id sooner take the carnifex and be able to hit the head reliably and be effective at all ranges while having a lot faster cooldowns...

Its not underrated, there are better weapons. Id use my carnifex IV over my revenant VIII any day

i dont mind it at all when im not concerned about its weight. its great for CC with its large clip. it handles larger targets pretty well with my HS. a full clip plus an additional clip from AR downs most larger targets if you need to solo them for some crazy reason. i still get my 20+ headshots either way i cant ask much more from a weapon in terms of accuracy. i dont even bother running it with a dampener. once you take off the extended barrel its just as strong as an Avenger with a barrel (marginally), and i would never take off the AP mod. i think people just need to learn to handle it better if they want to use it, and understand why maximum effective range is important.

No it doesn't because you're sacrificing power usage for Weapon damage.

Powers> 95% of weapons in this game, Rev X included.

Now don't get me wrong its halfway decent and on turian you can still get 170% CD, but  overall its not that great

If you play with a good group of 4 the Soldier will never be first. This is just a fact i'm sorry. I've also been forst on gold with every class, but the times I was a soldier or Krogan Sentinal etc I was playing with...not very good gold players

I used a Revenant 2 with a Turian Soldier with a stability mod and extended clip. It still took half a clip to kill a normal enemy on Silver.

Really? Coes it takes 1/3 of a clip to kill a normal enemy on Gold for me. Are you aim for the head, and are you shooting in bursts? 

In case you aren't doing the latter then I have to say this.. Don't shoot full-auto, shoot in bursts.
