As true as that may be, I still think she could do a good Liara. 

Don't get me wrong i love a bit of Willow but she is getting on a bit now to play Liara.

Apply a bit of space magic (otherwise known as 4 hours of makeup and prosthetics), and anything is possible.

Good point. So my second nomination for Zaeed...Willem Dafoe. He certainly has the looks, and the chops, to play the guy. I'd even nominate him for TIM, but I cant see anyone but Martin Sheen playing that part.

Get the right director, and more importantly the right writer, it should be fine
 - How about Steven Moffat (as well as writing Doctor Who, he also co-wrote the new TinTin movie)

Jason Statham is about twenty years to old.

You know who else has the right voice for Garrus? Brandon Keener. No sense in recasting the voice roles. Same for Tali, Wrex, Grunt, Thane, Mordin and other aliens. For Mordin I'd prefer Michael Beattie (ME2) over Williams Salyers (ME3).

I think Olivia Wilde would be a better Shepard than an Ashley.

Zaeed should not be in it. Because of the large cast in ME2 they should cut the non-essentials to keep the narrative moving. I would also cut Samara. Neither her recruitment nor her loyalty mission are plot essential. Same with Jack. Grunt is useful because he represents the future of the krogan and I would also keep Thane because of his storyline in ME3.
