Were she at the age she did Aliens, I would say Sigourney Weaver would have made a great FemShep. Now I'm not too sure. I'll see how Noomi Rapace does in Prometheus, maybe she'd be an interesting choice. I'm not too familiar with who's who in Hollywood these days though.

I think Sam Worthington would make a decent Male Shep, if he worked on his emotions a little bit. He's got a sense of fun to him, but Shep needs to be a little dark. Retain the sense of humor though.

And get Sam Neil a role somewhere. Anywhere.

Or just have Weird Al play everyone. That would work too.

Why not a TV show instead of a movie? I would hate to see any of the characters or plots cut to fit into 1-3 movies. I care more about the individual stories of each character, the genophage, and geth/quarian conflict than the reaper invasion.

Anyway...

I was going to suggest Kate Beckinsale (she is my go-to solution for all female roles haha) as FemShep....but I FULLY support Katheryn Winnick for a starring role in ME, as FemShep, or even Ash.


With that said....I'd prefer no ME movie.

I'd love to see HBO or someone very capable take on Mass Effect as a TV series.  Mass Effect 2 would lend itself great to this type of format with every episode dedicated to a new recruiting/loyalty mission.  I'd watch that.

If the guy that voices Garrus can't be Garrus (for whatever reason), I'd like to see Fillion take on Garrus.  It would allow his badassery and humor to shine through.  As for Shep, I'm partial to Michael Fassbender (he could act the crap out of a more ruthless Shep) or Matthew Fox (a more virtuous/paragon Shep).

I might actually go to see it if they did that. They'd have to get the casting just right though. I'm not sure who I could picture as Shepard. The problem is Jennifer Hale's voice is just too iconic for me.
