You said you know mobs are immune at spawn, you said you fire at them all the time, then in a video trying to show what an expert on subject matter you are, you make several mistakes and want to be taken seriously as the expert on the subject.
You still havn't responded to why you tried to snipe with the claymore when its been explained numerous times the way to use it effectively.
You asked if he knew what Spawn Immunity is. The fact you don't get the irony of this, is what's hilarious. He described you shooting a target and it not taking damage, you even stated "first shot was on target and registered no dmg" why would you shoot a target that you KNOW won't take damage instead of pausing a second THEN shooting?
how do you know exactly when it expires ffs. idiot.

It's called trial and error, and testing. Shot after 2 seconds, no damage? Longer than 2 seconds than. Shot after 4 seconds and it dies? Shorter than 4 seconds then. Times aren't accurate of course, but hello?

lol. the same unit youre talking about died 0.2s later. you nitpick cause youre sh*t. also note I can kill quicker than in the video. its playing a little on the safe side actually.

hello what? the unit died in the second shot 0.2s later. I also dont think its a set time. sometimes it takes longer, sometimes you deal dmg quicker. its a little random.
here are two short vids without audio showing the typical killing speed of both weapons. the location is the sniper hole in FB:dagger, enemy is geth, in gold difficulty:-
Claymore X
Valiant I
as you can see the valiant kills troopers with one shot from there. the claymore doesnt. I also fired deliberately with the claymore when 2 enemies were close together to max dmg potential. I killed 3 troopers before the lone hunter attacked me with the valiant but could only kill 2 with the claymore.
Interesting video, but I don't think Shotgun Infil is meant to be played that way. I agree that sniper build excel more at that vantage point due to long range capabilities. Shotgun Infil excels at watching the sides of the vantage point and the flanks (in this case the two hallways at the left and right as well as the doorway behind the sniper). They work wonders when paired with a teammate to cover an area. Yeah, they might not outscore (which is not an important thing anyway in a coop game) a sniper build (but sometimes they do), but they're a good support infiltrator. There's no need to go rambo guns blazing to get a hit on an enemy since that will only lead to deaths if not careful. Shotgun infil can work when played correctly.

For a Salarian this may be less of an issue thanks to ED, but the Claymore has the distince advantage of being able to oneshot shielded enemies whereas a Widow can't. You could also use Black Widow/Valiant to circumvent this, but that means more time spent out of cover.

Are you sure its the same? You were after all, sure that this was firebase white.

no. Im sure its dagger. are you a f**cking moron or something you should read the thread and know why I posted that vid. firebase white on the top location wouldve been equally valid for the point of the discussion. but this is the location of interest mentioned by someone else earlier. read.

Wait, was firebase dagger or firebase white mentioned earlier? I'm sorta confused now.
you leave the main group and try to gun down stuff that wouldve died to sniper fire. you dont cover your teams blind spots and dont deal dmg at range. you also tend to die in isolated locations that are hard to reach and become swarmed with enemies. you also wont outscore a decent sniper and are severely hindered against some units.
Well, from this you'd think it's impossible to clear a gold match without a sniper.
Agreed, did a gold-match the other day with 4 people, all using SMG's and only SMG's (except a shotty carrying Inf), Implying a sniper is required is beyond stupidity and I frankly find that shotty Inf's are sometimes more useful, (this one grabbed the objectives and didn't have any problems with enemies after his stealth wore off, something I can't say for a lot of these "Madleet Sniper Infs") for the rest of us it was tech bursts and explosions that did the most damage (got top of team with Salarian Engi, god do I love energy drain).
point is the claymore is not more effective than a sniper (the valiant) from that distance in taking out trash, its also inferior to the widow (widow would only need 2 shots to kill 2 trash units). by extrapolating this 'result' the claymore would have more difficulty with elite units from that distance compared to snipers. once the enemy is closer the claymore is more effective but definitely not so at that range. it would have even been obvious to some. but I decided to post the video to show its not that great at range still, since some guys claim otherwise. It also doesnt OHK so I dispelled that myth too.
