Bioware.
I am so, so sorry I ever doubted you guys. I realize I never truly trusted you to deliver a compelling story through your game. I assumed that you had made a mistake with the mass effect 3 ending, or that you had just decided "Meh, they'll pay for whatever we give them. Who cares if there's an ending?".
I want to let you know that I was wrong, and I know that. Oh god, do I know that.
If I had trusted you, as I should have from the beginning, I would have looked deeper. Why would you have made a mistake now, at the MOST IMPORTANT part of the series (the ending) when you have never, ever done so before? You wouldn't. That's a simple answer. You would not simply betray the community that has loved your games and who you have loved back equally with wonderful experiences.
To quote the blog post that changed my world:
"By sitting here and demanding that we have a different ending, we acknowledged that something is wrong. Something is broken. Something is not right. But instead of thinking that Bioware has done this deliberately to us, we swung immediately into rage and hate and slammed them for the decision.
"We are raging that Bioware betrayed our trust...
But we didn’t trust them."
I allowed all the hype of other people's assumptions to get to me. I allowed the thought that you would allow EA's corporate side to control your artistic integrity and force your game out without a proper ending. I allowed myself to believe that, since other games and stories have come out half-assed that, as soon as I found something that I thought was a problem or a continuity error, I assumed it was a mistake on your part.
Bioware. I have loved your games since you started making them. I thought that my love for your brand had ended. I was wrong, and I ask your forgiveness. You are the best video-game company in mine, as well as many others', opinions. And you will remain thusly for all time.
Thank you for such an experience, and thank you for never letting us down.

P.S: The blog that rocked my world, here's a link. The guy's a genius.
