Can someone confirm that Miranda mentions Shepards expanded lifespan. I don't recall that line but in hindsight I never really talked to her. If this is true it just made my day.

She does. Generally, the life expectancy is 130-150 years. There's no reason why it couldn't still increase from that, though.

She does? I remember her mentioning *her* extended lifespan, but I swear she doesn't say anything about Shepard's, because, as a Liaramancer, I would've gone 'Ooooh, yeah! More bluetime for my Shep' at that revelation! The 150 years is meant to be the 22nd century equivalnet of 100 for us, I think - most make it to at least 130, but humans are 'lucky to make it past 150'.

Here's the only bit I can find/remember where she discusses her lifespan:    Skip to 11:15  (I can never remember how to build time into Youtube links)

My idea of a loophole ending for EC.

Added a note about Shepard’s relatively unemotional responses to Tali.

I found that subtle immersive details are scarce in ME3 and I highly approve of the improvements listed in the topic OP that would affect most if not all the LI relationships. For me body language is a huge factor in a relationship and I completely support the "touching" sub section.

p.s. You misspelt "Changes" in  "LI-specific Small Chages"

On Thane there is a big improvement that is extremely easy to do: Keep the option of spending some time with him in private the same as the first time you talk to him. All other times Thane is too exhausted and no hugs :(
Lettters (hopefully with voice) would also be an easy thing to add. After each mission Sheppard could write to thane and get a letter back.

^ Yeah. Emails, even without voice but of course better with (holomessage?) would go a long way to establish normalcy.

Thane definitely got it bad, although I think the ‘glory’ of the worst romance continuation goes to Jacob.

On the subject of a "holomessage" and communication between characters that is not done in person; The Normandy was re-outfitted by the Alliance Navy to be the central comm center of the fleet, but I think you only use the Vidcom to talk to a total of 4 people (Hackett, Anderson, Asari Councilor and Salarian Dalatrass), The Vidcom isn't ideal by any means for a heart to heart conversation with your LI but it would be better than nothing.

This.

The new Normandy sacrificed Mordin's Laboratory to install that huge Vidcom system. It is one of the most powerful communication device ever, you could contact everyone, from Jack to Samara, everywhere in the Galaxy. A couple of conversations with your LIs before the final mission would be much appreciated.

Definitely agree. The only problem, of course, is that it requires new VA which while not out of the realm of possibility, is a whole different level than just adding some emails.

Well I understand that we're talking about "minimal dev resources" here, but to release something that improve LIs without even adding one line from the VAs  would be a little bit poor. The Extended Cut maybe could provide just a post-ending scene (without dialogue) with the LI, and change the flashbacks to not show always Liara.

Then, BioWare can do a little brainstorming (once that 280% of the BSN threads will not be about the endings anymore) and see if they can actually use some resources in creating a Romances DLCs. This is the last chapter of Shepard's Journey, after all, it'll be nice to go full circle with everything related to him/her.

Ha, yes…if they can come up with something satisfying, we can all move to better things. The idea of a romance DLC has been thrown around and while I think it’d be awesome, I think we’re going to see something more like LotSB instead, hopefully for various characters.

How bout when Shepard wakes up from a nightmare he/she decides to take a shower and your LI joins him/her. They don't have to show any naughty bits, i just wish that shower in Shepard's cabin was used more.

i know there's a few missions in the game where i think Shep could use a shower afterwards. :)

I think the email idea would be easy to impletment, they are kind of doing it already with the data pad app. Just use that text if they dont want to expand it (though expanding it would be nice).
