^ No problem, it'd probably work fairly well. Liberating a genetic research lab or whatever. Although DLC is far beyond our little suggestions here.

 I'd be happy to see more of even the non love interest NPCs, particularly Kasumi & Zaeed. Talk about bit parts - you could spend more time clipping your fingernails than the roles those two characters had. 

As to the topic at hand though, I haven't played my Miranda romance through yet, but I can verify that Thane's minor presence is well nigh an insult, even for a "doomed" romance. Regardless, of "time spent" though, I think all of them need sprucing up a bit, because right now they mostly seem like they were a low-tier inclusion.

^ You know, I recall that I saw Kasumi on the Citadel at some point. I have no recollection about what happened subsequently. Zaeed was dead for me, the unredeemable villain, so I dunno about him.

And, yes, I think they should get some more airtime, but I'd primarily want to see LI improvements with whatever limited resources they have

What about LI trying to console Shep after what happened at Thesia? Just a plain comforting hug would be nice I supposed :'( If Anderson and Joker can worry about Shep, then why not her/his LI? Just a thought..

LI specific: Jacob Taylor
Hope BW would add a new dialogue option for his fans who didn't have any romance in ME1: one where Jacob didn't cheat and Dr.Cole being green eyed envy over Shep (didn't romance the dude, but what BW did to his romance arc is just brutal IMHO) failing that.. Maybe a 'renegade interrupt punch' could be inserted here XD

LI specific: Thane
Have to admit I didn't romance him either, but after reading the grievance list of Thane mancers, I sorta can understand. What about having Thane sending Shep an e-mail saying that he has sent her a little gift as something to remember him by? The item could be anything, though it doesn't need to be shown in-game and the said item can be 'picked up' in the cargo area of the Normandy. Or even better, have Thane give it to her personally (much like when Eve gave Shep her Wender-Shard / Imaginary crystal after completing priority Sur'kesh)

Y'know.. This thread kinda reminds me of BG2 flirt pack that really adds a lot more life into the game (never play BG2 without that installed XP ) if only ME3 is mod friendly I'd probably be pestering OP about making this into an actual Mod XD.. (Probably not a good thing for the OP, but.. XD..)

Do we? It's kind of nice that everyone has a defined sexual identity, although on the other hand I suppose it's equally unrealistic that all the NPCs will return feelings for Shepard if their preference matches.

For ultimate realism, each new game should randomly select each NPC an orientation and whether they'll be interested in Shepard! That would make replays interesting.

I'm all for someone for everyone but eg. my own sexuality doesn't change at the flick of a button so, atleast to me, it would seem silly if it did it for a character.

It hasn't been said enough. Dream sequences would have worked much better with the loveinterest than the kid. Or atleast not just the kid. It would seem a bit silly/weird for the catalyst to assume the form of your Li eg.

Actually, this would work too. No-one says your dreams have to be the same twice around, and they require absolutely no new work, easy to animate. Adding.

why not ? In  kotor online  you can  wed your companion (Corso Rigg as smuggler companion  or Aric Jordan asking you and speaking  about  puppies lol)

It's not a bug the files for the LIs besides the VS and Liara simply aren't present in the game. People have datmined the game and there aren't any flashbacks besides those 3.

It's not a bug the files for the LIs besides the VS and Liara simply aren't present in the game. People have datmined the game and there aren't any flashbacks besides those 3.

The rumor I heard was just that for some reason those files didn't get included, and when the correct file is not found, it defaults to the Liara file. Dunno, though.

BUT, what I meant was that I think regardless of whether it was a bug or intentional, BioWare's heard it loud and clear and marked it as a bug that they'll fix If, that is, they keep that particular sequence as-is. I can add it to my list just in case, though.

Jacob Romance: The option to be a **** about it (Apparently, Jacob was really unpopular as a romance choice, which is why Bioware matched him up the way they did), and punch him with a renegade interrupt, and he replies with something along the lines of 'Ok, I deserved that' as he picks himself off the floor (Femshep don't pull no punches), or, be the better woman, except for maybe something subtly snarky. Possibly a reference to it only being six months since they last saw each other, and he's already thinking of having kids with this woman?

Thane Romance: I think a video Will/farewell in the third act, maybe something along the lines of the ME2 greybox sequence, would be fantastic. Thane was always meant to be a tragic romance, of course, so piling on extra angst to his death is generally a good idea (Within the reason). Also, the possibility of maybe one or two extra conversations while he's at the hospital (Maybe in the style of the OP's familiar love interest changes), and an extra bit of satisfaction when you finally kill Kai Leng.

As a general point, I think a paid 'Crew Expansion PAck' DLC, where the crew are fleshed out a little bit could work, similar to an official version of the BG2 flirt pack you mention, but also with general bro/sister stuff, eg poker games etc (In which, as someone mentioned earlier, you could say, have someone going 'I bet Tali's really good at poker, you can't see her face behind that mas', and Shepard replies 'Not quite. You'll see what I mean', then have her hand reflected on her faceplate, so that she gets an amazing one and everyopne folds, and she swwears and doesn't know what's happening.). Whilst it's not game breaking, of course, it does feel odd with previous romances such as Liara, Tali or Ash, that they are quite cool and professional towards you most of the time, especially with Liara, as you've basically already told her you want to have kids with her. I'm pretty sure most people would take that as a sign of wanting to be more than friends?

I support the OP's suggestions. They seem pretty restrained, easy to do, and would give the game more colour.

Have to say that an entire squad DLC would be awesome even if individual DLCs are more likely. I think, though, that even the possibility of either will depend on how the EC does… They surely have their hands full with it but, hey, can't fault for trying to squeeze some significant improvements in it, can you?

I think some sort of conversations/interactions DLC would be brilliant but I highly doubt anything will go into production. They are likely to just add more convos to do with DLC like the 'Omega' missions hinted at which slot in around the mission... something like that.

May have said this already but I fully support this!

At least at this point, yeah. I could maybe see something added for a GOTY-style or Ultimate Trilogy Edition, or whatever (but none of that will happen if EC doesn't do well).

I think it's a definite possibility that individual DLCs would expand on the individual archs and help them that way; Omega could in addition to Aria have content for e.g. Liara. Miranda's got a clear Cerberus arc going, it could branch off the point where she currently refuses to tell you where she's going (assuming all has to happen before the ending timeframe, which I personally find…a bad decision); both Jack and Kaidan could feature in something dealing with the biotic squad. I think Samara will probably stay unrequited, but there could be something dealing with the banshees for her. Etc.

Some input for Miranda:
-She can bring up her childbearing issues due to her genetic modifications. Shepard can encourage her to keep trying or to consider adopting. Ultimately Miranda beats the odds, conceives a child, and is an example for not giving up hope during the tough times. Or she (coupled with Shepard) can be a poster-child for adopting war orphans.

-Teammates can mention Miranda if Shepard is in a relationship with her, and perhaps what they actually thought of Miranda now that she's not around. Liara could ask how Shepard is doing with Miranda in that regard since she's always looking out for him. Joker could even put in a few words.
