Just encountered a rather strange bug during the dark ritual episode.  My female PC accepted Morrigan's offer, proceeded to convince Loghain to sleep with her, successfully, and when Morrigan was informed that he'd agreed the following cutscene showed my (decidedly bemused and terrified looking) rogue actually bedding her.

I have no mods installed other than the community ancient elven boots fix, and an addon which provides further choice of eye colour.

Would have taken screenshot(s) but was too surprised by becoming a 'father' to press the button :D

Hmm... I think I have a pre ritual save, I'll try and reproduce it and stop laughing long enough to press the button :D

Your "female" PC lied to you and is actually a guy? ;)

No idea, I doubt those mods would have affected your PC's gender, but could be mistaken. Perhaps the eye colour one bypassed some gender setting check during character creation.

I don't know if removing the mods would continue to affect it if you tried again, but worth a shot.

Well... doubtful I would imagine because this chracter was created prior to the eye mod being added last night, and also prior to me adding the boots mod.  They eyes are just a couple of override files anyway which I wouldn't have thought would be an issue?

Had a save leaving Denarim en route to Redcliffe anyway, soon as I've played through again I'll try, if it happens again I'll sort a screenshot.  Have to say I'm not worried game wise, though the epilogue might be interesting to read.  I'm more concerned about how Leliana will take it and what my (rl) kids will say if they find out their mum's going to be a dad :D

Holy Devil Machine! That look on your (character's) face in the third pic is priceless! Like: "Please, don't... hurt... me..."

Hehehe, that is awesome, thanks for making me smile... smile... :D

Just as a postscript, having finished the playthrough, all the conversations after matched what had taken place prior to the ritual, as if Loghain had taken part and Morrigan was seen heading west apparently with child, so looks as if it's just the cutscene :P

(For reference the bug wasn't posted because I'm crying out for help or a fix or anything, my first playthrough was fine, was more for information only should it happen to anyone else :) )

Gender confusion is one of the symptoms of the toolset bug which affects certain plot GUIDs. Could that be the issue here?

It has nothing to do with mods. It's easy enough to get in an unmodded game.

Is it just me, or does Morrigan's head look like it's shrunk.

All the people talking about gender-check fails: Wouldn't such a fail mean that Morrigan would initially offer the ritual to the character rather than have the character persuade Loghain to do it? (Oh well, there went the surprise of how this works out with a female character; I think I'll live)

I have the toolset, but haven't installed it pending it being patched, haven't modified any game files myself, just the eye colour overrides (added after this character was created) and the ancient elven boots fix/addon since they're missing from the Lothering cabinet.

This was my second playthrough (completed at least), first was ok, as was this one apart from the cutscene issue.  All post ritual dialogue made reference to Loghain having done the deed, and Morrigan was apparently pregnant when last spotted.  Everything played out fine with the exception of switching 'me' in for the cutscene :D

Where do you find this addon? I can't recall ever noticing them to be missing, but if anything IS missing I'd like to have it fixed for the next playthrough.
(And yes, I may be slightly lazy not to go looking for it myself, but ask and ye shall receive, no? :P)

She has a beast's body in the first screen.  Gross.

Weapons: 15 sovereigns

Impregnating Morrigan as a female PC in the process to save Fereldan: ...priceless

Toolset again? Damn thing... So any game started with that thing is potentially rollaly screwed with no hope of fix? I might as well delete all the chars and do a new (again) clean/full install of the bare game, starting anew.Posted Image Not bad for a thing I just installed to check it but never actually used.

On topic, Morrigan must have Asari genes.

From what I gather the PC version fails to place them in the cabinet where they should be, quite a few threads about it here and there, this is the fix pending it being patched by Bioware, there are two files which both do pretty much the same but if you read the comments I believe one had some issues, I think I used the first file:

offtopic : Supposedly, you can have the Dog search for the elven boots, when on RedCliffe and you can retrieve them, that way.

More on the matter. Loghain, post-Landsmeet, is a mess. I've already gone through 2 playthroughs and he always manages to show up in the end, perfectly alive and commenting you on your victory (assuming you took Morrigan's offer that is), althrough I elected to slay him, in the Landsmeet. Secondly, he will also comment, before choosing your party and departing for the final battle, the thing is, is he is dead, you get a voice coming from...thin air, in the cutscene. I'm willing to guess that this particular case also falls under the category : "Loghain's model should be there, but got replaced".

Is not a bug, is that during the game you did dirty things with blood magic and and this is the
result.
