I bought and downloaded Dragon Age through Steam. I'm wondering how you get the Blood Dragon armor because it never gave me any code to enter and download the armor.

Regular edition doesn't get the Blood Dragon Armour... only the Digital Deluxe Edition does get it, and the Collector's Edition

The reason I asked is because DA:O website says "Purchase a new copy of Dragon Age: Origins (regular or Collector's Edition) and receive a code to download Blood Dragon Armor"

I'm positive you get the Blood Dragon Armor (BDA) with all versions. All the sites I've seen including the oficial DAO site + steam say all versions include at the very least the BDA. I'd been having issues for ages getting all my additional content appearing, let alone working. I Imagine the base DAO key should unlock both the "BDA" and "The Stone Prisoner".

(For Steam, to see your game keys, right click on Dragon Age: Origins in your "Games" list, and select "View Game CD Key") Make sure you input any and all content key's given to you in the redeem code area, then on the left side of this page check your "Profile > Your Registered Game Promotions" to see what additional content is officially linked to your account.

At first, the only stuff working for me was "The Lucky Stone", "The Wicked Oath" and "The Memory Band". Then later on even when logged into my account in game, it was telling me "The Memory Band" wasn't owned and wasn't allowing me to use my saved games that I had been playing for ages with said content. For me, I found some obscure little program in the backround services wasn't loading at startup and never had been.

To check it, open "RUN", easiest way to do so is "Windows Key + R". For Win XP type msconfig. I don't know if it's diff for Vista or Win 7. Check the "Services" tab and look for "Dragon Age Origions - Content Updater" Make sure it's checkbox is ticked, if not, tick it and restart. After having done so for me, my content including my "Blood Dragon Armor", "The Edge" and "The Stone Prisoner" are all showing up in the "Downloadable Content > Download Progress" section in game, and my memory band is working normally again. Where as before, MB wasn't working, all the other stuff couldn't be seen anywhere, except the stone prisoner, which was in the "Available Content" section asking me to buy it.

I bought the Regular edition. Sorry for the long post, hopes this helps someone. Look here for additional help - ( http://help.dragonag...?p_sid=gjftcYPj )

The DLC download for DA:O will occur in-game. Launch DA:O, log in to the very same account you used to redeem your promo code then select Downloadable Content. Once you Points Balance has been updated, the DLC downloads will start. You can follow them under Download Progress tab. Be patient as this can take some times to complete.

I just found this fix myself... If you ordered it through steam; You get two codes... (Obviously) One is a 20- Digit long # and the other is a 16. After you register the 20 digit number in the "Games" section I.E. Register the game, You can then redeem the 16 digit # in the Promotional codes section. Just did this and got both my Stone Prisoner, and Dragon Armor DLC through this... Hope this helps.

Yea, about that. I done that and there is no DA:O-Content Updater, so, that method dosen't work.

See the solutions round-up thread pinned to the top of this forum. There are directions for installing the content updated if it did nit install correctly.
