Do you lose connection to the EA server a lot? This could be your fix. (all platforms)

Here is one link for DNS settings for 4 router manufacturers. Now that I've set Netgear router DNS, I never get disconnected when playing in other games, and never have that "all 3 non-host players disconnect" when hosting.

I just set this up with a 7.1% faster dns, I'll report back on how it works out over the next few days.

Good! No disconnects is the most important part. The lag is a separate issue. Latency/ping times during gameplay are completely unrelated to DNS server usage. If you keep working at it, you may be able to lock down the source of the lag as well.
