Anyone interested in a Non-Blight based DAO in the future?

Continuing your DAO 1 character would also be nice too

I think Dragon Age is broader than "Darkspawn vs Grey Warden". They will come up with some interesting ideas.

My question is, though, if there's no Blight... is there any reason for us to be Grey Wardens? There could be great possibilities for more open stories if we don't get the "Quest of the Grey Warden" plopped in our lap no matter what we do. Not complaining, just saying it would be different and interesting.

I think the plot of any future Dragon Age story revolving around YAB (Yet Another Blight) would probably be something we'd avoid.
Dragon Age...if it was going to center around the future or the past, it may as well be in another age, so Dragon Age wouldn't be the right name, even if it takes place in the same world with the same or similar rules.

It would be cool if the next blight would come in contemporary time, like now days (hundreds of years after DAO) and we would have guns and stuff.
The last blight could be in a furture space travel time, like Mass effect times or something.
And the Wardens could be a secret society that kept going through all this time even if the blight were long forgotten
Just thought it would be cool that one game could do something like that even if the gameplay might be quite different the sequels would be more about the storyline than gameplay or even genres (RPG, then FPS then RTS)

OMG no please don't do that.....there are still 3 or 4 old gods to be acconted for and there were too few actual dragons to fight in DAO as it was. If you don't do the story during a blight then there will likely not even be any real dragons in the game.
I would put good money on the last 2 dragons
and...
...coming at the same time. Hardly 'yet another' blight.

It HAS to be in the Dragon Age. Dragon Age is the name is the name of the current time period started around the time of the rebellion. I have the Thedas map as my wallpaper, there's definitely more content. I don't YAB (Yet Another Blight) could be bad as long as it's done well or not the main focus of the story.
Remember, there may be another continent. Thedas is not the planetAlso, the Qunari used to have another homeland, didn't they?

I'm getting really fed up, what don't you people don't understand about NO spoilers allowed. Even something as small as this is not cool.
Umm, what spoiler? Morrigan's baby? Are you kidding? Got another spoiler for ya, champ. Duncan dies.
Yes, I understand this is "no spoiler" forum, but everyone draws the line somwhere different. PROTIP: if you don't want spoilers, stay off message boards dedicated to the game. Especially threads about sequels.

Your advice to stay off the internet is like a television channel telling a mother that it's her fault that her infant children heard the word c**t while watching an episode of Thomas The Tank Engine on a children's network. Totally doesn't fly.
