I know this has been suggested before. But its really dumb that they make the Store System completely random without a Trading System. Im not saying that the Random Store System is bad, As i would rather have it than a Regular Store system but i think that they should atleast make a Trading System if they are going to have a random Store System.

Some of you think that it would make Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer into Team Fortress 2 (TF2) or as i like to call it: Trade Fortress 2. But it really wont make it like TF2. TF2 is based on hats. hats, hats and more hats. In TF2 most hats are worth atleast 40 times more than the weapons in TF2. Yeah, Were not going to make hats (or helmets i guess) in ME3.

The Trading System will allow players to trade: Weapons, Mods, Characters, Credits, and Consumables. with other players. This way players will be able to sell all of there Character Cards to someone else who might want or need them. Which will solve the problem of character cards since you can trade them to other players. If you have a BW ll and you don't use the Black Widow very often yet you still want to have it when you do use it. You can sell the upgrade you got for the Black Widow to another player. And you sell one of your upgrades to another player who might really want a Black Widow. So now you both have a Black Widow l.  Or if your friend doesn't have any medi gel and you have a ton. You can sell some medi gel to him. This Trading System will allow players to trade weapons, mods, characters,or Consumables they do not want or need for stuff that they would want or need.

Trading Character Cards will give the other person that character or if they already have the character it will add the appearances to it and it will give the player the amount of XP that the character card grants you.

Trading Consumables will allow a player to sell some consumables to another player that they might need for a match.

Trading Weapons allows players to trade weapons one player does not want to someone who does want it in exchange for something that you might want or need.

Trading Mods allows players to trade unwanted or unneeded mods to other players that might want or need them. If one player has a "Extended Barrel" IV mod and buys another one from another player then now they have an "Extended Barrel" V mod.

Trading Credits allows players to trade Credits for other items that they want or need that the other player does not want or need.

EDIT: And Bioware would still make money. People would spend Bioware\\Microsoft points (Money) to buy Credits to use as Trading Power to get the things they want.

Probably won't be implemented but I'm completely down for this as I have been desiring something of this nature since the demo.

The MP economy revolves around buying packs with either in game or real life funds. Why on earth would someone spend $50 to buy spectre packs on the chance to get an N7 gun when they can just trade with a friend or buy one off the internet for less? Your suggestion, from a publisher standpoint, means less profits so will never happen. Enjoy the free DLC you're getting tomorrow in the meantime as a consolation as a gift from the people who *are* buying packs and paying for it with real world currency. I know I'm grateful for their spending.

From a consumer POV, this would also lead to more account hacking as people can and do sell legitimately and illegitimately obtained virtual goods for real money online. If you need proof, see all the gaming news reports from a few months back about the thousands of people whose accounts got hacked on xbox live and then drained of funds due to FIFA having the type of system you're proposing. I'll pass since I have no interest in having some douche hack my account, charge up a hundred spectre packs to my linked credit card, and then sell the good stuff from the randomized packs to another douche on ebay.

No. Just give us as store. maybe an overpriced store.
Keep the random packs. But if you want something specific you have to fork out some cash. Want that Window I? 120 000 creds. Widow II? 240 000 creds and so on.

Count me in, I prefer Tech/Biotic classes, and all I keep getting is Assault Rifle and Sniper Rifle weapons/gear. Someone may want those and are willing to trade pistol goodies.

Good point. I'd even spend Bioware points to get a Carnifex X. So far I've got Revenants coming out of my ears...

But then this will just make it so everybody has Black Widow X's. it should be how it is right now. Just with a trading system.

Don't you think they would still make money? People would just buy a bunch of Credits and use that as Trading Power.

Hey look, another trading system petition topic. While I actually support it, I find starting multiple topics about the same thing pointless.

Never going to happen as it would put a nail in the coffin of the micro transaction model, sorry.

.. Aren't the biggest micro transaction-powered games the ones that have trading systems?

( big hint: yes they are )

Yeah, a trading system might be the outlet needed for my unused sniper and shotgun rails, surplus of thermal clips and unwanted shotguns.

Sorry, EA would put their foot down with this one. Trading between players = less people buying packs with real money for what they want.

But people would spend money for credits to get Trading Power to get the weapons they want

We would like to support this, but we will not.

Problem 1 - No Character Trading. Characters would become too easy to get.
Problem 2 - This can and will cause selling of in-game items and credits for real life money.
Problem 3 - This will likely break the micro-transactions that the Makers have put in place, also meaning Downloadable Content will no longer be free.

To those who believe the same as we do - do not fret as the probability of this being implemented is less than 10%

Black Widow X - 10 000 000 creds. Go for it and farm. Then you deserve it. Or you can gamble with random packs.

1. We could take character trading out i guess. But it would solve the promblem of people getting way to many character cards and cant do anything with them as once you have them maxed out they are useless.
2. This would be a problem. Although make it so people cant trade through Mass Effect 3 so they cannot blame Mass Effect 3 (Bioware\\EA for scams) for scams.
3. Chances are in the future they are going to make DLC's cost money for ME3.

Did I really need to state this specific game since we are on the forum....didn't think so, but guess I did.

This game does not have near enough "stuff" in it to sustain a trading system.

I have all weapons except N7 to X already and all classes maxed out.

But they are adding more stuff. They are making a DLC tomarrow adding 3 weapons, 6 characters and 4 consumables.

Yep a trading system would revolutionise the game. Needs good security measures though.
