1. Mordin - He's one of the most complex and interesting characters Bioware's written. His eccentric personality made him so endearing.

2. Kaidan - Aside from the biotics, he's not completely out-of-this-world. He's just a normal guy with a dynamic relationship with both male and female Shepard.

3. Liara - While she's obviously Bioware's pet and she feels forced at times, the time spent developing her character was well spent. I like her and maturation and interaction with Shepard throughout all 3 games.

Tough call.

1. Mordin--he's probably the dialogue high point of 2 and has the best story arc in ME 3 hands down.
2. Garrus--old reliable. And consistent as hell.
3. Zaeed. My favorite to go out on missions with. Total pro.

kaidan is a great character often hated though I played liara and kaidan as squadmates every mission in ME1 was a biotic artillerey squad since I play adept.  i liked Vega alot in ME3 suprised me.

HA that's my adept's squad too! I kicked so much ass in ME1 and 3 with that team

Garrus, I just loved him from the beginning.
Liara, she and Garrus were my dreamsquad the entire series, sadly I had to wait until Lair of the Shadow-Broker to fight with bith together once more.
Tali, you just cannot not like her.
Many others are on an equal level but these three stand out.

1. Jack - why couldn't you shoot her for being a scumbag back on purgatory? 
2. Ashley - Space hitler
3. Jacob - Stereotypical successful black man does not a good character make.
