OK so I have a Hades Cannon to shoot and the required heavy weapon. A red outline target area appears on the side of the Hades Cannon (as they do). I hold down right mouse to aim, press left mouse and release...and the weapon fails to fire.
Has anyone got any ideas what might be wrong here? I have not changed the default key bindings.

This may sound stupid, but you are holding the LMB down long enough right? The Cain has a wicked warmup time (4 to 6 seconds) before it will fire. It will also fire once it is warmed up, if you release the LMB at any point before it does it will actually not fire.
Try it without aiming as well, really you do not need to aim it; it's basically a mini-nuke shooter so even a semi-near miss is going to do the job.

Ahh...simple as that. It doesn't sound at all stupid, makes perfect sense in fact, because I have rheumatoid arthritis and my fingers do not always behave quite as I mean them to. Luckily I just invested in a G700 gaming mouse, time to adjust the sensitivity perhaps!
