It only seems like a logical step. I really miss the diversity in enemies. Blue Suns had humans, turians, batarians and krogan (codex said so but they never show in ME2). Eclipse had tech and biotic enemies. Blood pack krogan, vorcha and varren. The collectors with their scions, abominations and husks. PLEASE bring back these guys bioware.

Ammo Only Packs x5 / x10 of several ammo types 30,000 credits range.
Want the ability to highjack and/or drive Atlas mechs in MP
For SP & MP
More armor, weapons, & weapon mods
Want either a Assault or a Sniper Rifle that is based off the Scorpion. Preferably Assault Rifle.
More mission involving using Atlas mechs

New Objective Waves:
1 - Secure Tech: Secure artifacts and bring them back to the shuttle (which comes in at the extraction zone). Think something like capture the flag, maybe 3 instead of 4 objectives because of the extra requirement of bringing it to the shuttle to balance it out.
2 - Stop the Hack: Like the hack mission, but roles reversed. Instead of staying in one point to hack, you have to keep the enemy out of that point for a set period of time. Enemy will be naturally inclined to enter that area and take cover. Canon Justification: Reapers have implants that Actual Reapers can use to hack through as wifi nodes. Cerberus have omnitools. Geth are... well they're Geth.
3 - Boss Fight: Like assassination but instead of four slightly buffed enemies, one extremely buffed enemy. Preferably some special enemies that we don't see in MP. For instance Geth could have a Collosus or Destroyer, Reapers could have a Harvester, Cerberus maybe an uber Phantom or Atlas (so long as we can watch it do an orbital drop). Bonus points for neat special abilities, like a ground strike melee for a Collosus, the Destroyer's charge ability, Harvester flying around, stuff like that. An alternative boss fight might be some sort of security measure deployed, like a bunch of holo turrets that stun you out of cover like in ME2. Obviously this would be dependent on what map you were on, as I don't think a Harvester or Collosus would fit on Firebase Glacier. Maybe one to take out a Cerberus shuttle that constantly drops off more troops until destroyed. Higher difficulties/later waves may get even tougher bosses like a Thresher Maw (Or a Reaper Destroyer <.<).
4 - Survival: Enemy surges massive forces into the area, your objective is simply to survive the specified time limit. Lots of enemy forces, but a lot more lower class mobs than usual like Troopers and Husks swarming the area. Bonus points: Let one party member be able to board the shuttle and use the gun turret like on Rannoch in some variations. Shuttle flits around with some AI paid attention to putting the gun at an optimal firing position, maybe following concentrations of enemies or allies. Probably silly, but the swarm of Husks thing I think would be interesting.
5 - Defend Objective: Some objective on the field with a set amount of hit points needs to be protected, enemy is inclined to shoot at it. You simply have to defend it by killing the wave before it kills the objective. Think like Surkesh.
6 - Time Trial: A wave of enemies spawn, kill all of them before time expires.
7 - Activate 4 all spawn at once: Variation of the activate 4 mission which spawns all the points at the start, rather than spawning them sequentially after the previous was activated. This variation offers players the option of taking the safe bet of treating it like a sequential one, or taking heavy risk by splitting up to activate them all at once but the priiiize being awesome time bonus.
