Just like the merchant at soldiers pass, I want my merchant to upgrade items that you give him.
Is there a way to do this?
Or is there a way for me to open up the files from that merchant to look into this?
Incase you arent sure what I mean. When you sell the smith at Soldier's Pass some gear, say a Steel Longsword. If you return to him in a second he will upgrade that weapon to a Longsword of better quality (relevant to your level as far as I know)
Other merchant do the same, but I believe you have to elave the area for them to do this.
My merchant doesnt do it regardless.
How do I make a merchant upgrade items?

I read that you can't open the DLC stuff in the toolset... So it looks like I cant figure it out by opening that. So if anyone's got any clues, let me know.
I did find in merchant there is a field called vairable, and in there everything is set to 0, but I don't know what to change them to.
One of them mentions something about scaling...
