She didn't cut it. I'm aiming for pretty & cute, like the kinda person that ya would see & think 'she looks like a pleasant kinda person to talk to & get to know', not a supermodel a guy would look at & start making rude immature noises at. Posted Image

This is my tweaking/fixing attempt:

Does she look perfect & done, or does the anatomy (especially the Mouth, Jaw & Cheeks) still look not ready to go in all respects?

Feedback please! Posted Image

(P.S. This hair would be alright if those 2 stupid strands of hair weren't in the eyes' way. Why would a gal want hair in the way of their vision on purpose? I ask this as a guy point of view not understanding lady logic. Even if the gal is disciplined enough to never get distracted by the hair strands, I would still think it would be more sensible to not put the hair in a distracting place in the first place. Nope, she isn't intentionally emulating anyone. I just like the red hair + red eyes combo. Posted Image If she does bear a resemblance to someone by coincidence, it might be interesting who she's accidentially resembling. Posted Image

I was hoping the big eyes would make her look curious, inquisitive, & alluring. I have no idea if I pulled that off or not. If I get enough feedback on the eyes, smalling them up may be an option. (Plus, big eyes can sometimes work toward cuteness, & cuteness is a goal. Naivity is NOT a goal. She's a rogue, & rogue & naive doesn't mix.)

Many thanks for feedback. Posted Image

u should check out my female human mage, she a redhead also and maybe it helps? i just like the way she looks :)

1 more thing, maybe try another mouth? couse u do know u'll have her look like that the whole game, witch can be quite annoying as i found out with my first mage(he looks way to serious...)

and np, glad i could help.

I agree, make her eyes smaller. Because the thing is that big eyes are fine and dandy but there is a limit to how big eyes should be.

Eyes whose size are around the middle of the slider are already considered big.

I have trouble gauging an optimum size for the Mouth. Would ya suggest bigger, or smaller?

You could try making the fuller, that gives off the illusion that her mouth is bigger without making mouth too wide.

She doesn't really look like a dwarf, if you ask me. Rather a cutesy human doll. I personally don't go for "pretty" but it is definitely possible to make good-looking dwarven women who do look like dwarves, not short humans. I'd definitely second the advice to make the eyes smaller, also for a somewhat more "dwarven" look I'd make the mouth wider, the chin a little broader and the nose bigger.

(Edited for messed-up linebreaks. Sodding buggy forum.)

Firstly she's a vast improvement already. I too would suggest making the eyes a touch smaller and maybe the mouth a tad broader. I wouldn't say that the chin needs tweeking as it looks like you've done that already and it's not too pointy. The eyebrows look a little thin. It might be worth looking at some thicker eyebrows (not that there's much choice 'though). That skin's going to look very pale once you get out of Orzammar (the portrait's closer to the in game colours).

I'd second the eyebrows suggestion, too. Skintone is fine, I think, when you consider that many dwarves never see sunlight.

Ok, fuller & wider mouth, smaller eyes, (maybe 1/2 slider?) eyebrow change, bigger nose, chin & skin undecided?

The Eyebrow selection needs work.

Many thanks for the feedback! Posted Image

By smaller eyes I meant maybe 2 clicks smaller at the most. Since you clearly like them large the change could be pretty minimal without losing their overall largish essence.

Eyes 2 clicks smaller, nose 2 clicks bigger, mouth 1 click bigger, lips now smallest size, cheekbones modified, cheeks & jaw modified, & portrait experimented on. (During my modifications, I got curious on whether or not this Portrait design, or the other prior one, is better.)

How's she doin?

nose seems too thin for side a round wide face, IMO

I'm aiming for pretty & cute, not beautiful. Does the nose look the part?

Some great improvement. And also, girls with rounder noses tend to be a lot more on the cute side.

Would widening the nose or nostrils pull that off?

(It's so embarrasing having so much trouble with anatomy. I know if I like the looks of something or not, but I can't ever tell what it is that is making me like the looks. It's like liking the taste of a food/drink without bein able to explain the taste. Posted Image)

Wow, it has certainly improved greatly. Can't think of anyway it could be better other than the nose being slightly more pointed, but regardless it's one of the best faces I've ever seen so far, well done!

Pointed dwarven nose? Bah!

She looks 'buggy' to me, smaller eyes?

To tell ya the truth, i've tried eyes on my various characters on smallest, & biggest setting & I honestly can't tell what size works best. Maybe i've played too many games with too many different anatomy designs & i'm too broad minded about anatomy now. Posted Image

Are big eyes failing at looking cute? I've modified them once before, but they're negotiable.

To me, [the eyes] don't look too cute. She looks moderately startled. But it's just my opinion. Maybe bring the eyes together one click and make them one click smaller.

Or perhaps it's some bias on my part. I'm not sure. If you're satisfied with them, you may as well keep them. Have you tried them out in-game yet?

I'm late to the DA:O party. Gotta upgrade my puder to somethin useful 1st. I'm tweaking my characters with the standalone CC while I wait for my puder upgrades. I'll see what I can do with the eyes. I really honestly don't know my anatomy.
