I've said this before but i really do think the protagonist will be the maker reincarnated into a Human or elf whatever to stop the chaos the world is in. Like a messiah or what not. The maker will not know he/she is the maker until near the end of the game. For example Sandal says in DA2. ''When he rises everyone will see and all the magic will come back and everyone will be as they once where''. This is unlikely to be anyone other than the maker i taught it could be the Ogb but no, now that i think about it it wouldn't work. But the Maker reincarnating into a male or female mortal would be interesting and plausable. I remember i think it was Baldurs gate 1 or 2 can't remember the character finds out their a god near the end of the game. So its possible what do you think , i personally think it would be epic seeing the chantrys face when they find out your the maker reincarnated.

That's too big of a retcon. I do not see what value it would bring to the game, it would just remove one of the greastet thing. That religion is just religion and not the ultimate truth.
