More than three, but blah:

1. STARCHILD (Single-handedly killed the series for many people. Even without that the voice acting was bad and the character made no sense and came completely out of left field. Kids in games are generally annoying, but using a kid to represent the main enemy you've spent years fighting against and then force your character to sympathize with it? Ugh.)

2. Kaiden \\ Ashley Post ME1 (I liked them both in ME1, but afterwards they had WAYY too big of a chip on their shoulder. REALLY annoying. Not to mention their dialog (And Shep's) seemed more "romantic" than neutral in ME3 no matter what options you choose or what sex you are, and I REALLY hated that.)

3. James (I quickly figured out he was a plot device to explain stuff to new players of the series, and I quickly hated him for it. Voice acting was good, but character and his writing was bland and I kept getting the feeling he was hitting on BOTH my maleshep and femshep. A pet name? Loco? James, you weirdo...)

4. Allers (Voice acting was HORRIBLE and she looked like snookie. I didn't even realize she was voiced by Jessica Chobot, whom I actually like for her IGN previews on XBL, but MAN that was some BAD voice acting.)

5. Jacob (A waste of a character if you ask me. Completely forgettable and bland.)

#1 space kid....I still go "What were they thinking??" when going over that choice they made to introduce a new character at the end of a trilogy.

#2 Diana Allers.....Really? a pathetic 5 EMS points and a lost opportunity to give us a choice to have either Khalisah or Emily. now THAT would have been a cool immersive choice for a correspondent on the Normandy. I guess that lady was doing more than just licking PSPs....

#3 Vega...here is the thing. I liked Vega. I just thought his rank was WAY off as an officer. I don't know why that bothered me so much but it did. He should have been cast as an NCO Sgt. rank. A badass, straight talking master sgt. or sgt. first class would have made so much more sense with his personality and actions. I liked his dialogue and his banters. they just mis-ranked him.

I loved Hackett in ME1. He threw me the occasional mission and a pat on the back. He had complete faith in Shepard (me) when he had no reason to. In ME2, the LotSB DLC we find out he kept the Alliance off my back.

And i don't hate them because of their actions in the game. I hate them because if you take them from the game, it won't be noticeable.

Ashley and Kaidan are one because they're so dumb they're both only worth half.
Same with Cortez and Traynor.
I have no problem with Kaidan being gay but i do have a problem with him being gay for you no matter what.

Same. Even the other two people I could have on this list (Udina, Han'Gerrel) are atleast well written.
The Catalyst makes me wish I had Q's powers for one action and undoing him would be my one action.
....Or  giving me $10 billion dollars so I could buy BioWare so that they would have to cut him out, but you get the idea.

Star Child - ruined the series.
Diana Allers - Sign of BW being in bed with IGN? Fan service? Why is Chobot in the game, she's a game "journalist", not a professional voice actress.
Kai Leng - Bringing a sword into a gunfight. This isn't Star Wars or Metal Gear Solid (and I like those properties too).

2: Thane (dull, left him on the ship coughing every single time I could)
3: Allers: (when I can bring myself to reload ME3, I'm going out to the galactic rim, kicking her off the ship, then blowing up the relays as fast as I can just to leave her stranded)

1. Ashley/Kaidan - They're like a soap opera. There's no such thing as a good one. And yet the game forces me to worship the ground they walk on as a paragon. WTF?
2. Starchild - I'm not sure if he counts as a character, seeing as he only exists for 5 minutes.
3. TIM - Nothing is more irritating in writing than a character who knows everything. Nobody is that powerful. Plus I think his title is ridiculous.
