No. Just no. She'd be awesome if you could kill her painfully.
ME1- Ashley - She seems to hate all aliens and I love all aliens so I hate her
ME2 - Jacob - not that I hate him.. but every other squadmate is better.
ME3 - Ashley - She got worse.

ME2: if you include DLC characters, Zaeed, if not Jacob both are incredible boring. Miranda comes close.
ME3: Kaidan/Ashley but especially Ashley, I cannnot believe how annoying she is with her constant talking about her sister.
Generally all the human squadmates exept Jack although she clearly behaves alien.
I never judge them based on combat skills. I ALWAYS would take Garrus with me even if he would be the worst fighter of the galaxy.

My two favorite characters are aliens. That Xenophobic b*tch never left me alone. My next playthrough I'm killing her.
I think she got over that. Now Ash is hung up on nagging you about the evilness of Cerberus.

ME2: Jack... Some people loved her. I did not. Such a freak
ME3: James. Why add a new character, whose not even that good, at the end of the series. Yeah I get that they wanted to explain the game to new characters, but they could've done that without wasting a valuable crew member slot on a dull character like James

2. Jacob. Snoozeville.
3. Didn't dislike any of them, but I used Vega the least and thought he added the least to the story. I don't mind him otherwise, though.

2. It's a tie! Between Ashley/Kaiden for being complete and utter frakking a holes about the whole Cerberus thing and not trusting Shepard. So between them and Jacob for being in my CIC and talking trash to the new members I brought on board. He seems to have these "opinions" I didn't ask to hear. I also did not invite him to be in the CIC...I DIDNT APPRECIATE IT. Frak.
3. Ehhh..Everyone hates on James and I am going to take this time to say I actually really liked him. That's probably because he reminds me a bit of my best friend who is also a gigantic goon. But Javvik...I think I just spelled his name wrong one v. Javik. Got it. Right he was kind of a jerk to everyone and I know he had reasons but that doesn't make me like him. I understand him and in ways respect him but a jerk is a jerk and I wish Liara would have smacked him in his creepy alien face for what he said after Thessia

Biotic Charge > Shockwave. So no.
Besides, you should have had the option to kill the biggest scumbag on purgatory, instead of taking her with you.

Edi didn't bother me, her character was interesting to me in her interactions with Joker. Javik was a cool way to look at the protheans. Vega just seemed dull to me which is sad cause I thought he was voiced well. I think the problem is there were other characters that were already established and had backstory that would have been great.
Like Jack. She grew a lot in ME2 especially if you romanced her. It would have been nice to see how she continued to grow in ME3.

There's no official definition for meathead but if we were to go by the first Urban Dictionary definition, which is what you're probably referring to, your description of Vega is way off.Apathy1989 wrote...

ME2: Jack. None of my Shepard's were comfortable having a psychopath on the SR2.
ME3: EDI. The concept is just so... ridiculous.
Interestingly enough, I came to love both Jack and Liara, previously two of my least favorite characters, in ME3. Their evolution as characters were handled really well in my opinion.
