It would have been awesome. When I first met Evelina is Act 2 my heart strings were pulled by her begging and I gave her my gold but I wished I could have helped her more. Then I heard about her charity with those two Fereldan refugees that she promised to look after. After learning that she was a mage I thought I could have her for my party (though she would have been a rather late follower) and romance her and then I was forced to kill her. Why Bioware why?

 

I want some abomination lovin.

Haha, well the game is filled with potentially interesting NPCs. I did think Evelina was interesting; I also liked Alain, Lia, and Keran. But, alas.

My own personal Evelina is Bella, from DA:O -- in that I would've loved to have added her to my party if the game had allowed. I'm not sure there was much room for an untested barmaid/tavern owner in your travelling motley crew but the fact that I had to check on her, every time I went into the tavern, kind of puts her in that same NPC-I-Wish-I-Had-More-Interaction-With/romance category. At least, unlike poor Evelina, I didn't have to kill her and was assured, in The Epilogue, that she did okay for herself. So at least I could satisfy myself with that.  That doesn't really help you with your unrequited Dragon Age love but it does make me feel better.

Bioware killed off Duncan, Leandra and possibly both Carver and Bethany. Evelina should be no surprise. They like making the hero cry, and Aveline was smart to pick Donnic over Hawke, for her own sake.

Because when she appears during On The Loose and we get a close up of her ankles all I could think of was Nora Batty, that's why not.

Technicly speaking, Duncan isn't dead, he's presumed dead. Granted, when the head writer tells you the guy's dead, its safe to say he's dead, but the game didn't tell us that he's dead, his body was never found. So if Mr Gaider ever changes his mind and comes up with a new idea for him, it would be easy enough for him to bring Duncan back into the storyline at some point. You never know, certainly it'd be fun for those of us who liked Duncan (which was pretty much everybody).

Then again Anders does act like a whining **** so it wouldn't surprise me if he really was a woman. I don't think I want to try and find out though...

It still annoys me that i took the time to give her 1 silver every time i walked past her and ends up being an abomination... i think i gave her about 40 or so silver once i even gave her like 20 silver in a row.. fun to see nothing matters.
