hey, ive been playing through the game with no problems, but no that ive unlocked this DLC, it wont work. on my world map, whenever i click on the ostagar place, the game closes out and a message says "Cant load this area" do you have any suggestions on how i can fix it? PLEASE HELP!!

PLEASE HELP us to help you. You should really check the stickies, especially "... Read First ..." before posting.
That said, if the DLC is available but won't load, it's most likely you have a corrupted file/installation. This can be due to mods used, bad luck or a computer setup issue. Please check the stickies and if you don't find anything that helps there, at least follow the reporting guidelines in the Read First post before updating your question.

thanks for replying, i read the stickies. how would i fix a corrupted file? how do i know if it is corrupted?
while trying to play witch hunt, i also noticed that it wont load the area. any thoughts?

It sounds more and more like a corruption (often caused by a bad/unlucky installation). Normally the only way to fix it, is to backup your saves (sometimes optional) then do a full uninstall and re-install of the game.
Easy for disc based games, but can be a chore with digital download versions. Some are less bad than others. Steam for example, so I'm told, has an option to verufy the datafiles it has downloaded. Not sure about Origin or other digital-only platforms.
Oh, and do not use any "mods" or 3rd party utilities until you are sure you have the game working!
